Going through all the dev comments on the official forums and all the reddit postings is...a big hassle, but since the same post said that none of the existing calculators are correct I'm not relying on said calculators as being a reliable source.

Same for me. using the calculators I somehow come out with less account lvl then is shown on live. Granted I only have 4 heroes at lvl 10 and beyond but my Muradin alone jumps from 11 to 23. So if no other variable changes that would bring my live from 380 to 392... and not after ll calculations are made to a combined lvl of 371. So I take it with a grain of salt and let myself be surprised by the chests on conversion day.

No matter how the xp between levels changes, you won't lose levels in 2.0. So absolute worst case scenario is that you end up at the total hero level you have now. You can't go lower.

I know that. And that's why I don't trust the calculators. Since I should sit at roundabout 410 but every one gives me a lower one then live. But maybe I use them in the wrong way but putting in some numbers into an excel table shouldn't be hard. As I said I will be surprised when 2.0 launches next week an gladly accept any chests I get.

Individual hero level can not go lower come 2.0. My understanding is, that account level can indeed decrease, as currently level 1 heroes contribute 1 to the overall level, in the future they will contribute 0, as heroes start with level 1, not 0. We will see.

Oh yeah, the current concept of account level is going away entirely. New account level is simply your total hero levels.

As useless as this is for me, that's a pretty crazy gesture of Blizzard. I skipped out on buying Cassia because I figured something like this might happen but she's not in any of the bundles, oh well. Still get some free gems to save up for a skin though, I'm happy either way.

My current roster of heroes I have not yet unlocked:Medivh, Stitches, Chen, Morales, Lucio, Zarya, Uther, and Lost Vikings. All but the vikings are in the Support & Specialist bundle. Guess that makes my choice easy, heh.

The 100 Gems feels rather underwhelming considering I get no value from this service as I already have all the Heroes.

I mean, the value is 1 Loot Box if I am not mistaken. If I was able to buy at least 5 Loot Boxes I would be happy enough.

Not really complaining though, happy they are doing this.

Also the bundle is great for newbies. It's a shame I wasted some gold in the past couple of weeks trying to finish off the collection, but decided I'll hopefully roll Khaz and Zeratul through the chests and finish the collection.

You get 3 heroes in the Support/Specialist pack, 4 in the Tanks/Bruisers, 3 in the Assassins, and 4 in the Flex. So for the greatest hero value per gems, Tanks or Flex is the way to go, BUT, the Flex pack includes the Vikings which are...definitely not to everyone's taste, so that might lower the value of Flex for you. So if I was you, I'd go Tanks/Bruisers since I despise Vikings. You get Varian, Ragnaros, Dehaka, and Samuro which is a pretty decent selection IMO.

i have hero level 360
and player level 40
will that bring me to 400 after? or do i have to grind 40 hero levels this week in hopes to get the 4th vetern chest >#>

Actually several people gave you the answer, including Nerraw already. Current player level means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the new system, literally, the ONLY thing player level 40 does in 2.0 is reward you a stimpack. It is completely, 100% irrelevant to your new player level.

also yes current does, it gives us a veteran reward chest each 100 levels that we have before 2.0 comes out doesent it?
