World quests - Windwalker assigned as tank

    Hi All,

    Quick question.

While I'm doing world guests with my windwalker I always get signed as tank.

Spec is obviously WW and loot spec is also WW.
This only happens to my monk. Other 11 characters are "working as intended".

I'm using about the same addons on each character.
which include: world quest group finder and world quest tracker.

Am I missing some obvious "mark this" box or what's up with that?

    Thanks!

You most likely have tank selected in your LFG window. I have healer and dps selected in mine cause I heal LFRs, and every time I join a world quest it says I'm joining as healer. It doesn't really matter.
If what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Then I should be a god by now.

I didn't have any role checked, so once I tagged dps, it worked like a charm.. Thanks!

I hope they fix this if they do WQ in the next expansion.

I intentionally skip quests that give me useless healer trinkets/relic.

I want WW rewards damn it!

I don't think that is what this thread is about considering multi role classes can still get a different role to show up as reward for their WQ even if not in that spec or loot spec. The OP was having an issue with being declared a tank for grouping purposes.
