When you cast Healing Surge on yourself, you are healed again for the same amount 3 sec later.

Just unlocked this on my ele .. the 'heal again' only does about half the original heal. Bug? Intended?

Also, if I cast x2 heals in a row, would I get x2 effects in a row? Probably not :/

You get healed twice via Swelling waves if you cast Healing Surge twice, it's just staggered.

As for talent choices, it's difficult, Swelling Waves is still good if you're fighting other casters simply because you get a lot more sustain.

Spectral recovery however grants a bit more mobillity and is quite decent against slower melees, also has a bonus if you can predict long stuns (such as HoJ) you can just sit into GW right before and heal for ~9% during said stun.

As ele, i'm torn in random bg's between these two, both have adantages.
