I do love me some specialists, but support will always be my favourite. Can't wait to check her out on release.

I can confirm that it does seem to negate palm.

And judging from my one time that I did it, the status effect seemed to pause on him, waiting for the heal, so it is not as bad as a window as you think.

It does put the target in Stasis, or Stopped or whatever it's called today. It's inherently different from when someone gets Mawed for example, where effects still continue on with their duration.

If I remember right, their are two 'statis' effects, statis and stop. Time Stop and Medivh ult uses stop, Void Prison uses Statis if I remember right, the differences are one does seem to decrease your cooldowns and standing on objectives still count, If I remember right. I know that there are differences.

Ley Line Seal started affecting capture points a little while back, just as Void Prison does. I can't remember ever seeing a patch note mentioning it, or if they ever changed it back. I don't play Medivh all that often.

I am talking about mercenary camps, Void does not not remove them off the point while LLS does.

Man, you're getting me to fire up Try Mode in the middle of my dinner. xD

Both Ley Line Seal and Void Prison use Stopped. Zagara Maw uses Stasis.

In other news, the Try Mode AI is dumb as rocks. Enemy Butcher is getting killed by a Murky, so testing Divine Palm might take a little bit.

They function differently, Void used to be able to cap like LLS.

What are you trying to test? You can just disable your ally hero if you want by clicking none.

There we go, Divine Palm uses Stasis too. So the duration of Ana's grenade should definitely keep ticking while the hero is just standing there. If it doesn't keep ticking, then that's a deliberate inconsistency on Blizzard's part.

I went a bit off-script since I realized the camps in Try Mode don't have capture points. So I went on with testing consistencies with Stopped and Stasis instead!

And Void Prison did allow stuff to be captured once, but they changed that ages ago after people realized they could sneak boss captures off of teams of five by just standing there and waiting until the boss was dead, and then move in and take it. Ley Line Seal was "recently" (probably a while ago, my short-term sense of time is getting shoddy) changed to act like Void Prison, despite the fact that it has no pre-defined Stopped area.

Honestly it seems hard for me to accurately test Ana in QM, the MMR is just horrible. I just came out of a game where it was 48 kills to 2. I knew we lost the first objective so I went to lane at top and get exp. My team then proceeds to to keep running into their deathball feeding them.

So while she seems fun to play, it is very hard to test her accurately due to the mmr. What I can say is I don't think she will ever be a good solo support healer. She has no sustain herself and is easily killable, even more than Morales. Her skill range is pretty high, you can easily miss you heals on people. She has pretty great sustain on other people though, she could be great grouped up with an Uther or Reghar I think.

Ana has MUCH better self-peel than Morales against being dived upon, and also has much larger range. She can also heal herself with grenade (albeit for a small amount) if needs be.

She'll be a shit pick against dive comps, much as Morales is, but against a range-heavy team she will shine as solo support.

1v1 her peel is pretty good. Anymore than that and she is easily killable. Honestly I thought that there wouldn't be another support that is worse than Morales getting dived on, but Blizzard proved me wrong. I honestly will never pick her solo support. A support that has no healing of their own is not a support that I want to play.

Ana and all the accompanying non-Junkrat content will be releasing in US within the next few hours. EU will get the content during the planned maintenance between 0200 and 0400 CEST tonight.

I give up, I can't test her. I'm having at least two guys rant and go AFK every single game today.

Just had her on the opposing team and went 11/19/0 on Zera. Dude couldn't test her much either

First impression: She's very strong, but then I've always been good at heroes who depend on landing skillshots.

I've come across Anas on the enemy team who were far from good.

Another (quite) high skill cap, high reward hero.

Although I suspect she will either have her mana costs increased, or healing reduced (probably the former). Alternatively, they might increase the CD on Healing Dart. Provided I'm reasonably unharrassed, I only have to hearth 1-2 times per game. Apart from that I can easily get by with just healing fountains/regen orbs.

PS: A lot of people are underestimating her DPS with 'Detachable Box Magazine' (Level 1 talent) at 5+ stacks. They just stand around and let me stack 5 Doses on them (even easier with 'Overdose' at Level 4), only to wonder why their health pool starts melting. By that time it's often too late.

PPS: As in Overwatch, it's a pain in the ass trying to get MVP as Ana in HOTS.
