Well i'm not really keeping up with the thread but that sucks to hear. Really wanting ethereal to be a playable race at some point in time.

In all seriousness I am with you man. I want repeatable fun content that isn't just "do this same fucking dungeon/raid on 6 different difficulties".

Exactly just something that's fun to do. Hell I'd even be happy with badges coming back just so I have something to farm in dungeons other than AP.

I think that a randomized dungeon would be perfect. They could add new bosses every patch and we would go room to room doing puzzles and killing creatures. We could easily add one shot traps in there too and a "heroic mode" where you only have a set number of lives. You could add weekly affixes to make it interesting too. It would be 3 man content, no dedicated roles needed (similar to scenarios). Add a bunch of mounts and pets as a reward. That would be fun.

BUT in the other hand, we got updated models for etherals. Maybe it really is for caverns of time shit. They may not be playable with this new models as we all can see, but they def could be in a new raid, mega dungeon, caverns of time showdown. Or maybe theyll just be around like in BC.

Honestly getting a new model seems like it might indicate that something ISN'T going to be a new race. Especially the patch immediately preceeding an expansion.

Since Blood Elves (And High Elves) and Goblins all got new models only when they became playable.

Worgen got a new model in 3.0 but got another entirely new one in 4.0.

And Draenei.... well they got a new everything, even lore.
