It was there by the Eastern Kingdoms location, but with the Cataclysm it somehow relocated somewhere else...
So hopefully Blizzard will let us know where it went since it's a big piece in the story.

We will find out it relocated not because of the Cataclysm directly, but because it's on the body of N'Zoth, and he moved. Dun Dun Dunnnnn

A renegade faction could end up on either side realistically. If the Night Elves are open to the Void Elves (whatever they end up being); there's an argument for them becoming more open to their mutated kin.

I agree. I'm just saying that "They hate Night Elves" or "Night Elves hate them" is a very poor argument and if anything the Horde have a larger grudge. The Night Elves already took back the Shen'dralar, who were the most guilty of the Highborne when it comes to the War of the Ancients.

Maybe have a focus on Northern Lordaeron and somewhere on Kalimdor at the same time then? Or have it also incorporate a Northrend revamp?

I don't think you have to have Syl as the final boss in that situation but she does need to do something. They need to not Wrathion her after the last couple of expansions and a South Seas one worries me that they would.

TBH knowing what I know right now, what I'm thinking is it's a Kul'tiras focus. With some other missing islands of that area thrown in as well through the power of "plate tectonics" (retconing). Kul'tiras, Dragon Isles, Plunder Isle, Crestfall, Zul'dare....

Just no Zandalar, Kezan, or Tel'abim.

Yeah, I agree. Plus the Night Elves don't speak for the Alliance as a whole; if they did, the Illidari probably wouldn't have been welcome.

Well to let you know Tel'Abim is near Kalimdor and Zandalar is kinda south, but north of Pandaria.
Also with South Seas can be the main zones for now, and then Blizzard can do Nazjatar too.
Really want to have the underwater places, but instead of it being full underwater they could have zones in the water pockets.

So everyone who doesn't want underwater zones will be happy.

I saw this on another fan site and thought it was interesting. Something a bit different and unexpected. I would lean towards fake for some obvious reason, but Blizzard can be Blizzard.

They would never do something so crazy imo, but sounds awesome. I barely read it the first time.

I really don't want Lordaeron exclusively for two reasons.

1. That's gonna fuck with phasing big time. As you won't see anyone below 110 in Lordaeron anymore.

2. It means Sylvanas is for sure the final boss IMO.

I saw the idea of Lordaeron similar to Cata as a faction conflict heavy expansion only instead of Varian and Garrosh fighting each other all across the world, Jaina and Sylvanas will be fighting each other over the top half of the eastern kingdoms.

Sylvanas is far too popular for them to make a raid boss. Garrosh was wildly unpopular even within the horde well before MoP.

This "far to popular to be a raid boss" argument fails. Arthas is an iconic character and he was a raid boss, meaning pretty much everybody can be.
And Garrosh was a pretty good character, especially if you consider that before TBC he didnt exist.
