You are obviously not into pvp scene seeing you posting something like this. Last two xpacs melee classes have been over tuned in every possible way, especially gap-closers, interrupts and their up-time... Their toolkit needs to be toned down if anything...
Since you are referencing ABC playing a mage comp, the only possible outcome where you wouldn't pose your ignorant question would be if there had been exclusively only melees in the final match and tournament overall.

The way OP has worded their comment shows that they didn't actually watch the tournament and are trying to stir the masses, but I'll take the bait on this one.

Melee was represented in literally team at and almost every single game lets take a look:

Unitas Black: Demo LSD (wizard comp) Thunder Cleave (Warrior/Ele/Resto Druid)
Method Tri-force: Thunder Cleave, Moonkin/Ele/Resto shaman (Wizard Comp->Got farmed), Demo LSD (wizard Comp)
Panda Global: Thunder cleave, Jungle cleave, PHDK, DH/Hunter/Shaman
Blank Esports: WW DK
Splyce: WW/DH, WW/Destro
ABC: Mostly RMD/P never played pure wizards
Method Synergy: WWDK, WWDH, DH War, TSG (No wizards at all. Their Warlock sat on the bench the entire tournament)
Rockets Esports: WWDK, Thunder Cleave

So clearly OP is right. Melee was severely under represented here and needs a buff /s

It doesnt matter what comps were on blizzcon.
There are soooo many 1500-1750 players crying about melees. Every expansion got tier 1 melee and tier 1 spellcleaves.

Both spellcleaves and meleecleaves were good in every expansion Just melees cry about casters and vice versa. its mainly l2p issue
