Herrera often made the assist to the assist (if you watch Hockey, it's called a hockey assist), Silva often makes these as well. I remember watching Herrera when he first arrived at Man United that he often tried these passes. They can be a bit risky at times, and LVG coached that right out of him. He has always had energy and a bit of a bite to him, that is the only part of his game (magnified now) that is present now. It's no secret that Mourinho loves big, fast, athletic players. And yes jose likes his tall players, its no mistake that man utd looks like a basketball team right now with pogba, matic, fellaini etc. But you also need the play makers like Ozil and why he brought mkhi. The problem is when the defensive duties asked of those players affect their game because they are dropping back to much and not making space up front

He was kept out of the National Team because we are absolutely stacked at that position. It's the reason why Arteta never got called up either.
