I can't wait for new customization to Blood Elves. If we end up getting blue eyes, these High Elf diehrds are going to implode.
I'm already drowning in Alliance salt because we won the Allied race bowl with Nightbourne and Zandalari.

People sobbed and raged for ten years, and Blizzard gave them void elves, in another ten years they will give you springflower elves.
They have made it clear before, and reiterated that they knew people wanted high elves, and they went out of their way to create void elves for you instead. You aren't getting high elves, something BFA SHOULD and has made quite clear for most people.
its painful how wrong this guy is and im sure its been said by other comments but ill just post it as i cba reading everything.
Highelves lost the sunwell to the scourge the ones who switched to fel magic to feed off and followed kalethas renamed themselves blood elves... so all blood elves are high elves. some high elves did not siphon fel magic and remained living in alliance settlements hence why they dont have the green eyes.
sucks we wont see high elves playable for the alliance as there are tons left in stormwind (wowwiki puts the population at 20,000 and other alliance cites even with major characters like Vereesa Windrunner.
to say leaving and joining slivermoon is what makes you a high or blood elf is foolish, we have high elves on the alliance (Vereesa Windrunner) and blood elves (Valeera Sanguinar)

Its basically like saying Europeans and Americans are different races. Just because there are cultural differences and the way they interact with their surroundings differ doesn't mean they are different races.

I cant believe how many people are atill in denial, that Falstad is alive.. It is clear, that he died in day of the dragon. And how many people still hope, that we will get vanilla servers.. Just let it go.
since the end of blizzcon until now havoc dominates the official forums. seriously the deal is great....probably hundreds of threads in both us and eu every day and not only on official forums....with thousands of posts for sure...all this to make high elves for alliance...you want my opinion? in the end blizzard will give in...never again i have seen the demand for the high elves to be so active and big
It's not been this big before because there was always hope before. After every expansion there was always 'maybe next time'.
People have just cottoned on that hope is gone because Blizzard went out of their way to create a substitute. You don't create a substitute if you ever want to give them real deal.
Although plenty are now denial about this.
how does giving dark elves with a cool name to complement blood elves for the horde while giving alliance another purple elf with a cheesy name maintain balance?
it doesn't. the devs probably had plans to give the horde the nightborne from the beginning while velfs were their "lol alliance gets this random !@#$ we just came up with"
tell me if im wrong to feel trolled from blizzard's part?
That's the whole problem with W universe. It operates with races instead of species. High Elves are most definitely a different race from Blood Elves and Void Elves who the fuck knows what they are after sucking on dark juju.
Blood Elves not only have green eyes but also reddish skin. And are clearly far more intelligent.
vrykul would be awesome and would make tons more sense than void elves....it would also be a race with unique rich lore and we'd have valarjars and odyn as well a part of the broken isles (stormheim). because right now in terms of which faction got the most powerful allied races, the horde politely fucks alliance in the ass
It would only be logical that the Vrykul would have joined the Alliance, the fact that Odyn calls the Forsaken valorous for killing Worgen is hysterical and what a missed opportunity it would be for blizzard, and that they never gave them to the Alliance yet is mind boggling.
