Most of the time they choose short distances, which makes it more difficult, if not impossible, to calculate the curvature of the Earth. I tend to avoid "flat-Earthers".

Well you really should because it is a lose/lose situation. If you beat them soundly with actual facts and science you beat up on a retard. If you pity allow them to win or somehow actually lose you lost to a retard so like I said a lose/lose situation.

Flat Earthers are literal retards so they have no understanding of anything.

I mean, it all seems like some kind of attention mongering to me.....

Kinda shows how gullible Flat-Earthers are that they are paying for it then.
Ah, very good. I hadn't thought of that. Well played, Mr. Mike.

The earth is flat but not a square, it's a circle, what you see there is the curve of that circle limit.

I'm not a flat earther, but that's their reasoning, lol.

Mmm. It's a bit much to say that they have no understanding of anything. I'd gladly agree if you said, "they have no understanding on anything about Earth", as they do believe the Sun, a "slightly warm" star, is only 4,000 miles above the Earth.

This dude will be flat when he hits the Earth, that's for sure.

So dude plans to fly a homemade rocket to 1,800 feet to prove the earth is flat. Wouldn't it be safer and cheaper to buy a ticket to anywhere on a 747 go 3 times as high and look out the window?

"The Flat Earth Society, founded in 1956 and relaunched online in the 2000s, currently boasts of having over 500 members, although the group has splintered into two separate factions with competing websites."

    Now that is amusing.

Well, your example shows they also have no understanding of The Sun, astronomy, or basic physics. On top of that flat earthers also tend to reject any science that disputes their belief that the Earth is Flat as well as a general disposition towards other conspiracy theories... I mean, if 'they' are lying about the Earth being round...they'll lie about anything!

If the earth was flat wouldn't it be daytime 24/7 everywhere on the planet?
