I'm guessing Nova Scotia for Trailer Park Boys and Quebec because some Americans think we're basically Frenchmen that would support the US like in the revolutionary war if there was a war with Canada, while other than language we're pretty damn similar to other north americans and don't really associate with France at all.
I love when other countries try to pretend they don't need the U.S.
All right - Ill bite. Yes the US would kill us. Its not a comparison. 1812 was a long ass time ago.
That said. Canada provides a vast amount of electricity to the states and serves very specifically as a buffer zone russia would likely have to get through if they wanted to hit the states. Red scare n all.
On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.

The original trailer park boys was a spectacularly awesome series. Since they have gained fame worldwide the show is horrible.

Honestly, no joke. Why wouldn't we just take over Canada?. They have been coddled and protected by our buffer?. Why should Canada be protected from all the stuff the USA has to go through?. Do you actually think we are going to allow Canadians to be insulated when they don't even support us? Sorry Canada, Fidel castros illegimate son is going down also. trudeau is fidel castros son.

So.. I literally just pointed out that we DO support you in at least two ways a layman can sort out. Im sure Skroe probably has a better understanding of the situation. And the states has no REASON to invade Canada. You totally could, but there just isn't a point to it. You have alot of military but its spread around the whole world, and taking over Canada just means you have more space to defend. Its not like your military defends our borders for us, they just keep track of us because if someone did invade Canada (unlikely) that would put them on Americas front doorstep. The relationship is symbiotic - not parasitic.
And all thats totally disregarding the weird gibberish about castro.
A clear sign that someone is trying to hide something is citing a report without linking it. The article cited by OP did not link to the real reports:
https://economics.bmocapitalmarkets....er%20NAFTA.pdf
Some findings:
Over the span of five years, we estimate that real GDP (in Canada) would be up to 1% smaller than it otherwise would have been. That’s a relatively moderate impact on an economy that is expected to expand by close to 9% over that period.the consumer that would be the biggest net loser from the termination of NAFTA, in all three partner countriesI assume that GDP will continue to grow less swiftly in the future as well; not catastrophically bad - but still. In the U.S., we judge the macroeconomic impact to be less severe—in the vicinity of a 0.2% net reduction in real GDP from what it otherwise would be over the next five years
Tennisace has a tendency to take anything that is mildly helpful information to Canada, and then misinterpret it as a jackpot. Im Canadian, and I love my country, but I tend to open his posts because I have an interest in anything involving Canada and come away wondering how anyone can be that fanatical.
That said, I think the overall point of the article disregarding bias is just that Canada doesn't have to bend over backwards to please Trump if he's going to propose a deal to us. Since Trumps stated goal is to go in and try to come out with a better deal for America we can assume that this new info means that we can A. Negotiate with the understanding that anything that will result in a smaller GDP loss than straight getting rid of NAFTA might be tolerable and B. Attempt to work for our own interests in other areas of the deal without having to be overly afraid of the looming threat of Trump saying 'fuck you and fuck this' and tearing up the deal.
