I'm sure there are plenty in Prison, and I can understand why the ideology and membership would be attractive to those incarcerated, given that white males make a minority of the prisoners in many prisons.

Now in mainstream America? I don't think they are nearly as powerful and their numbers pale in comparison to the numbers of Latino and black gangs.

To be fair there's some closet nazi

I agree people online throw it around too flippantly but then they're genuine nazis that should be outed

Neo Nazi and white supremacist group numbers have been going down steadily over the past decades and Trumps presidency has done little to change that. There's been a HUGE increase in Anti-Muslim groups but this topic is dealing specifically with Neo-Nazis/White Supremacists. There's also been a HUGE growth in Black-Seperatist hate groups - they actually outnumber KKK groups these days - You don't hear THAT on the news.

Is Neo-nazism a real threat? No. They're not in any way relevant. The media keeps going on about them, and making a huge thing about it as if they were a rising tide taking over the country but that's purely political - trying to associate the entire right with white-supremacy. They're fear-mongering and shamelessly trying to cause tensions to escalate, but then the US media has been making a habit of going all "Tomorrow never dies" recently.

Lets put it this way. The HUGE Charlottesville nationalist rally was attended by 3-400 people tops. 400 people in a country of 323 Million.

Now lets look at Poland. Their population is a ninth the size of the US. They had a nationalist march and 60 THOUSAND people turned up. That's 150 times what all the Neo-Nazi, KKK and and white-supremacist groups could rally together from the whole US.

THAT'S what a real nationalism problem looks like. Not the US.
BASIC CAMPFIRE for WARCHIEF UK Prime Minister!

It's a dangerous ideology. Few and far between as they are, there have been recent cases of far-right terrorism.

Luckily, most who cling to neo-nazism are too rock-stupid and/or cowardly to pose a threat; at least nationally. At worst they're a local threat, mostly to people of color or LGBT people.

You do understand that the First Amendment only applies to government actions, right? Nothing stopping your average joe from putting a stop to hateful ideologies.

No, they are not a threat. They shouldn't even be considered on the radar, despite how desperate the left is to make them seem like a threat.
White supremacist have actually kill people and the former speaker of house admits there are nazi in congress. We've had former president and senators that have been in meetings with the kkk. They're a threat and so are the violent left.

Racist have gotten into power in the United States and done actual damage but everyone keeps trying to equalize or underplay Nazi for some reason. The part that makes me happiest is they end up hurting the people they want to protect the most outside of Jim Crow and Slavery so that always makes me laugh.

That's exactly what will happen. People like bucksparkles, ransath, etc etc on this board will yap their jaw off that white supremacists are marginalized, won't fill up a stadium, yet would immediately join into a larger social movement of whitesupremcost group once it hit a critical mass, becoming a trusted and loyal soldier in their cause of initiating an anglo-saxon ethnostate. There are tens of millions of people that blow with the political winds and are susceptible to propaganda. It's a chain reaction that creates more and more scapegoats, which invited more and more maligned bigots. Nazi Germany is a great example of this.

A genuine hatred for Hilary that extends back to her time as first lady. Some will sound conspiracy theorist... some is legitimate. I don't think she stands for what the United States should stand for and to her the constitution is flexible, as is her position (when it suits her).

I did a research paper in my undergrad on uniforms in schools. Come to find out Hilary (and her husband) were largely responsible for the support and research (90s) that was used to reform many private and charter schools into utilizing uniforms. Essentially the theory was that kids would perform and behave better with a regimented attire. Turns out it has little to no effect on both. But it cost the country millions. My school changed, my kids are wearing uniforms. This isn't exactly criminal or morally damning but she is responsible for taking away an opportunity for children to express themselves. (First Amendment Rights)

Video games. She was a huge proponent for rating system on video games. Again on its surface... a rating system sees like a benefit to consumers, and way for people to be responsible with the content in which they engage, or allow their children to engage. But it was a huge blow to the industry, and again freedom of expression, and video games as an art form. The rating system was a middle ground, had she had her way... any violent game would have been banned completely... no CoD, no Halo, no Mortal Kombat... etc. Again, not criminal... not American either.

Victim blaming. Standing by her husband during the whole scandal was the best thing for both his career (and hers). Had she divorced him... her career would have been over. But it went beyond supporting her husband and forgiving him, because she ruined Monica Lewinsky. As far as where we are today, in terms of the harassment and culture surrounding the treatment of women... she is and was a damning force. She is NO champion for Women's rights.

More sex scandal (under the radar) her husband frequents an island that caters to rich and powerful pedophiles. Yet she stays married to him (because of her career) if you knowingly allow, or bury your head in the sand... while children get FUCKED by old perverts... YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY. That woman would sell her soul if it would make her president.

Inconsistent viewpoints. There are plenty of videos that show her position flip flopping over the years... and not because her ideals change... its different for her audience, and what is going to get her more votes.

Her involvement with the UN. Hilary has always been a strong supporter of the UN. As an American I HATE that we are the world police. We are often the military force behind problems within the UN, or rather problems that the UN thinks needs solving. The UN has also been posting "arms reclamation specialists" positions for years. For stations around the country. The position details are essentially taking weapons from US citizens. These UN stations are stockpiling armored assault vehicles and tanks... why does the UN need bases on US soil, and why that kind of weaponry? Odd no?

2nd amendment. This has ties to the UN stuff. Personally I am conflicted... I don't own guns. So this isn't about "dey heer to take ma gunz!" But rather the issue is about the ramifications of abolishing the 2nd amendment. If one can go... they all can. Its a slippery slope... and its one I'd rather avoid completely.

Bernie Sanders. The DNC is not a government run organization, they are essentially a private club... so they can do whatever they want. But there is evidence that she totally fucked Bernie for the nomination. Is it illegal? Absolutely not. But its shady AF.

The e-mails. Benghazi. etc. Here let me do it for you I know... that dead horse is already a tree its so dead. Her actions surrounding that event were again SHADY AF. People die... she needs to resign as Secretary of State because of health reasons. She is wanted for questioning and can't appear FOR MONTHS due to "health problems" then she does, and it comes to light that she had prior knowledge of the risks surrounding Benghazi. Look she has advisors... she got bad advice. That ain't criminal. But fucking look people in the face and own up to it. We fucked up. My bad! But she was so concerned on how that would effect her candidacy as President. So can we see the e-mails? No. Hang on... her you go. Umm... Hilary you clearly deleted some. Oh yeah they were personal. Umm... but they weren't. Oh yeah well my private server... yada yada yada. Just be a fucking straight shooter please? Character it all goes to character. There are plenty of Democrats who lost faith in her ability to be honest/trustworthy.

Had it been any other democrat... but her. HER! Really? I can't.

So I took a chance on Trump and his promises to "drain the swamp" I also thought that with a Republican Congress... we could finally get some movement on longstanding issues, but there were enough Republicans that opposed him, that any stupid ideas of his would be caught in a safety net. I don't know if I would have voted for Hilary, I probably would just abstain at this point, at least I wouldn't feel guilty about it. By the way it turns out that even in a Republican controlled congress we still can't get shit done... so despite disagreeing with many democratic policies... change is better than the status quo. Your republican "ideals" don't me shit if when the opportunity comes to change things... you do nothing.

Leftism/Communism/Marxism, open borders with 3rd world shitholes are a threat. There is no "neo Nazisim"

According to the radicals that have infiltrated our Media, Education system, and all branches of government... everyone they don't agree with is " Literally Hitler, and White Men are to blame for all of society's ills. ( Europeans have gobbled this up, as have 1/2 of Americans.

Meanwhile you have a 1st Amendment here (which no matter how much I hate what people have to say I would die to defend you're right to say it, unlike the left, which if you look at history have a rich history of Murdering Hundreds of Millions of people once "the glorious revolution" has taken place and they are in power.

Here this is from a Texas University paper.

    https://kxan.com/2017/11/29/students...per-is-racist/

Martinez ended his article in the paper by writing, “I hate you because you shouldn't exist. You are both the dominant apparatus on the planet and the void in which all other cultures, upon meeting you, die.”
Yes this is a tolerant leftist speaking of White People.

While I don't think the counter protest was necessary or appropriate. This is just flat out false information. He drove to that location for one reason... to run people over. It wasn't like he was a victim caught up in a flash mob... he went there to do that.

    A threat? Yes, of course.
A real, country changing one? Nope.
I would agree that radical groups have gained more ground and support during last few years, but they do not have actual power.

This is why people don't attempt to share their views... especially here. You find one thing to be obnoxious and contemptuous over and you run with it. Go troll some place else.

The people on the far right and the far left, and they get in the way of the people in the middle who are trying desperately to find common ground.

No, it's so marginal it's really not a threat. Americans however should really reconsider their fascination with Communism...

If they were not standing in a road made for vehicles, would they have been hit? The people he hit have nothing better to do then cry when they don't get their way and block traffic smash windows and do run by punchings.

Like the Regressive Left says: You are more likely to X than to Y.
So no, Neo-Nazism is not a threat at all to sane people.
