Yup, same as you can dislike someone smoking, and you can dislike someone tripping balls on unidentified substance, screaming that they will rape your corpse, while south american drug cartel enforcers are banging on your door. Its almost as if not situations were the same.

He is only directly responsible for trying to usher Kil'jaeden into Azeroth. No big deal that.

If I'm biased, can you then tell me in which way and how exactly. It is amazing that you know something about me that I don't. Feels like you fail to comprehend the meaning of someone being biased.

They are very similar they assumed the humans exaggerated and considering their history it is not that surprising, stormwind nearly fell to gnolls after all. So they underestimated the threat and send their expedition to help out and supported the Kirin tor and once the threat became apparent they mustered their armies.
Apparently the destruction of a human kingdom was not enough to convince them. It took the horde marching to Quel'Thalas itself for them to help properly. The Night Elf etablished the outpost there and mustered for war immedietly after seeing the old god's army swelling.

They're the same for their own respective timeframes and the overall way characters understood the universe at the time.

Again Stormwind was nearly destroyed by gnolls before, so if you know they had seriously problems dealing with a bunch of vermin before how credibly do you think the threat assessment of that kingdom will be.

While those outside were forced to deal with the problem thorough.

So Nightborne are cowards and Night elves were simply desperate. And of course the night elves can feel betrayed because they considered those in Suramar their close kin, but it still is a emotional response.
Not true like at all. They could simply hided in the city if that's the case. Suramar was not an inaccessible city. All would go hide there There was no need to go out and fight by your logic. Especially for someone like Malfurion who were not in the military.

The resistance was already outside fighting across the globe trying to save all of their people, the nightborne simply cared about their immediate people. That is the only real difference, as the night elves back then didn't give to shits about the rest of the world that came after the war.

There was nothing noble about the war of the ancients, just pure desperation to stop the invasion in order to not being slaughtered anymore.

Implying that gnolls were not serious threat? If they managed to organize like back then they could be.

Gnolls aren't a serious threat for a well established kingdom, stormwind was just weak and had pretty much nothing, which is why the other human kingdoms told them to die in a ditch.

They were outside in the first place because they did not hide. By your logic they would not go to fight in the first place. Why would they? They all fought for their survival of their own people. Only the nightborne were too selfish to do so.

"But they were all like the nightborne but only the nightborne had the opportunity" card doesn't work here.

They were outside to defend their people, the night elves had cities all across the continent and were trying to save those in these cities, but most were simply slaughtered. The nightborne are more selfish because they considered the people in their city more important, while the resistance cared for their people in general but they in turn were also selfish, because they didn't give a damn about the other races.

Except after the gnoll war, Stormwind entered its great age and was a major power in the south.

You mean almost being destroyed by trolls if it hadn't been for medivh? Stormwinds track record was simply not impressive prior to WoW.

Moral obligation to your people is a part of many ethical system as I told you. The night elf not caring much about other races is not a good excuse for the nightborne not caring about their own race at all. They deserve contempt from their own people because they abandoned them. It's entirely justified.

I said that he did nothing? He did bad things and that's why he died, but it's nothing compared to what Darkhan did because Kael did not really meet his goals. We defeated Kiljaeden in the Sunwell before entering Azeroth. darkhan if I manage to kill 90% of the quelthalas population.

Kael's betrayal in comparison is not so great because in the end it did not cause as much damage as darkhan's

They can hate them, but it does not change the fact the they were saved by them. Sure Tyrande can mock them but shouldn't be surprised if the nightborne don't care about them or shouldn't be surprised the blood elves hold them in contempt either. The truth they are all a bunch of assholes and all sides shoulder responsibillity for how things turned out.

With the help of the Zandalari and a bunch of Loa Stormwind was merely assaulted
