so, how are your dungeon runs going ?

i played against 55 bosses so far and completed 2 runs with paladin and rogue. both were really easy compared to, say, hunter. couldn't find a way to defeat any of the 5 last bosses witht hat class. any advice is welcome btw.

also tried druid and seems like buff - zerg is a viable tactic.

priest seems doable. tons of resurrect options but if you face that trogg boss, it is %100 gg.

mage, geez. almost completed that run too but the evolve boss turned his silenced (he silenced it himself btw, silly) 1 or 2 cost minion into https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Nerubian_Unraveler . you can imagine my face hehe. i had a flamestrike in hand but RNG is RNG i guess.

back to the title. how're you doing so far ?
war does not determine who is right, only who is left.

Warlock is by far the easiest imo. Did it on my first try since the double health passive is so strong

Currently struggling with Rogue. Feels like it’s hard to get a decent deck synergy by boss 4.

All in all, I really love dungeon runs. I just wish more quests were complete-able in that mode

Finished a couple of them and sad to say am bored of them already.Especially since completing all of them gets you a card back.Kinda lame if you ask me.Especially since you can either one shot a class or take 100 tries to win.Warrior i one shot,Priest it took me like 50 tries.Just luck of the draw but i mean it is hearthstone after all lol

ya that is a big let down for me as well. The fact that the only true goal is to get a card back kinda makes me not want to do them all.

I’m not sure my total runs, but I’ve attempted shaman, mage, warrior, rogue, paladin, and hunter so far. The only one I’ve cleared was shaman. I got to the 8th boss on 3 other classes. The kobold king is rough. I got him to 4 health with lethal ready for the next turn and he drew a direct damage treasure that finished me off. I’m loving the dungeon run so far.

I cleared them on every class, probably took around 100-200 boss kills. It's a pretty fun mode.

I finished it with all classes at some point yesterday. Most classes took 2 tries. Some notes:

    - Warlock: My very first run. Went fully into the demon kits. Got several Doomguards and Voidcallers, 2 Mal'Ganis, Skull of the Man'ari and Bloodreaver. Had +3 SP and the Archmage Staff, which saved my ass against The Darkness.
    - Mage: Got double +3 SP and stealth minions. Went fully into the high direct damage kits, having several Firebals, Forgotten Torches, Pyros and the such. Nuked Vustrasz.
    - Priest: Went for the C'Thun kits. Last boss was Azari. When my deck was gone I played Benedictus.
    - Paladin: Full Control mode. Got Double health, 5+cost minions for 5, and all the taunt/legendary kits. Last boss was Xol, just took it slowly and won with the help of fatigue.
    - Warrior: Control/Dragon. Double health once again. Had 4 Deathwing, Dragonlord, a regular Deathwing, Ysera, 2 Chillmaws... Last boss was Togwaggle. Once again, played carefully as to not compromise too many valuable minions at once and won with fatigue.
    - Druid: Control/C'Thun. Double health and double battlecries, with 3 C'Thuns by the end. Faced The Darkness. Played carefully to bait his removal then nuked him with the C'Thuns once he hit fatigue.
    - Rogue: Aggro. Got double +1/+1 to all minions. Picked 2 Jade kits and a ton of pirate ones. Last boss was Togwaggle, nuked him in a few turns.
    - Hunter: Control/Tempo. Double health once again. Had a hit or miss situation with aggro, specially on the last bosses, so I went for a more balanced deck. Saved Deathstalker on my initial hand against Azari, which saved my ass.
    - Shaman: Overload/Jade/Elementals. It was just a well balanced deck.

Overall, I'd say that Control is the most consistent strategy, bar some crazy combos if you get lucky with loot. Double health and +1/+1 to minions are by far my favorite options. The C'Thun and Jade kits are very powerful, and it seems to me you're more likely to get them again if you pick them.

Played a few classes and done maybe 10 dungeon runs. Ive gone 7 wins on every run.

First 7 always seem like a joke and are easily beaten while the last boss always seems to crush me with either unfair mechanics of just godly RNG.

I really like them. got warrior, shammy, lock, hunter left to clear.

my first run as mage was going so well, got +3 spell damage buff first round of card select. got to last boss, deck of wonders shuffled into my deck, frost lich jaina everything going well then boom deck of wonders renounce darkness.

overall really like the buff stuff you can get really makes you think about how you build your deck with the options given, can get some really scary decks with the right buffs early on. +3 spell damage on mage is insane, 5+ cost minions costing 5 on druid was a lot of fun, double death rattle rogue.

    Did 4 runs so far.

Finished my first run as shaman (boardclears with extra spelldmg)
Finished my 2 run as mage (boardclears & elementals & extra turn)
Lost 3rd & 4th try pretty miserable with jade rogue at boss 4-5...

Beat King Togwaggle with a Warlock deck that I was sure wouldn't go anywhere. The cube that shuffles decks and reduces your card costs by 2 was a godsend; a full hand of powerful demons synergizes well with it.

My friend was doing one with Rogue yesterday and it's made me question his stability, since he started shouting about how "Health and Stealth means win".

He apparently picked the double health pool ability, along with permastealth. He had some C'thun cards too I know.

I've completed paladin so far and got to final with hunter, mage and warrior. The darkness keeps destroying me if my mulligan is bad

This may have just been my experience during my mage run, but it seems like the Darkness is meant to be ground out in a long attrition-based game. Antonidas ftw?

Only attempted it with priest so far and I did get to the last boss once and it was the beholder boss. The Beam cards weren't terrible it's that the boss was a discard warlock and got the quest done really fast.

Cleared 7 bosses with hunter/mage/lock. But so far priest is the only one I did a full clear with.

Despite having terrible passive choices priest was by far the easiest cuz I got the 5/1 minion that resummons itself. That pick seems broken beyond belief.

You do have to watch out if you get put up against Togwoggle for your 8th boss. If he gets the card that silences then destroys all of your minions you are screwed.

exactly i beat it with raza anduin kazakus ysera reno lyra priest, played the control game, bursting him down would require insane luck.

Got Paladin and Warlock so far.
Warlock needed 13 encounters, because I met the Wax-Guy who got ridiculously annoying for a big Demon-deck.
Second try was successfull. I didn't pick the double health, but got a de facto Krul-Reeno-deck. Got that Beholder boss.

Paladin took a bit longer, since I was trying all kind of nonsense, and when facing Darkness my computer crashed, though I believe I would have won.
I completed it against the kobold king, with a Silverhand deck. He filled his board stupidly with Group Portals, so since he only had his treasures, he got only low cost minions per portals and I just send wave after wave of Darkshire Stewards enhanced recruits and Light's Sorrow against him.^^

My first run with hunter I completed the dungeon. I can't really remember much about that run besides having like 3 hunters marks, a solid amount of trap synergy, really good minions and the hunter DK. I faced off against the void guy, came really down to the wire and won by fatigue.

    2 completed so far.
Priest I did on first try.
Rogue took forever. Finally manage with jade rogue. 1/1 buff and double battle cry. I had 6 Aya LOL.
