I actually like the new/half/full moon spell added in legion (as before it was a balancing act with lunar/solar spells that was hard to play perfectly).

I know some boomkins miss the eclipse meter- which was pretty unique i think. But i just played feral during that time because i have an easier time managing bleeds while playing melee, than playing a caster and monitoring a meter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

From what i saw in the blizz BfA demo, there wasn't any moon spell there, so boomy might be a lil stale next expac. I hope they do something more fun with it.

Once, when the expansion hit. Went from Warrior to Paladin. The Paladin has though always been my active main.

lol? Unless you have a quick and efficient way to get legendaries and billions of AP then easy is not a word i would use.

I went from my Hunter to my Mage then onto my Druid. Kinda trying to keep both my Mage and Druid at decent levels of gear and AP so have two mains really.

Normally I play one main for the entire expansion or even longer.
Played warrior since vanilla with a few times playing another class.

Unsubbing in Cataclysm and resubbing in late mists I played my warrior as a main since then until the Legion pre-patch came and with it the demon hunters.
After spending more than 30 hours on each tanking class in beta I chose the vengeance demon hunter and rerolled the minute they dropped.

During the pre-patch and the last month of Hellfire Citadel DH felt very strong and I enjoyed playing this char but they nerfed the specc more and more.
When we were progressing Ursoc I had to bench myself (quite a dumb thing as raidleader) to let our death knight offtank pick up my role because this boss literally destroyed my well geared DH. Few wipes in and the DK had proven to be superior and my guildies killed the boss without me.
A week later we recruited a warrior tank and I rerolled back to my old main, this time to fury because we did not need three tanks and I couldn't (and still can't) stand the havoc spec.

During Nighthold the playstyle of fury warriors changed and did not feel "natural" anymore. I began to dislike every dungeon or raid having to play the spec.
This was when I rerolled to the monk I'm currently playing. Started out with windwalker and later changed to mistweaver when we started to do mythic Nighthold.
I feel like the next reroll is looming as no matter how hard I try the mistweaver still feels like a underpowered healer compared to our holy pirest, restoration druid or holy paladin.
The next main would be a shaman, restoration to be frank, a class I never played before.

TL;DR: I rerolled 3 times this expansion with a fourth one just around the corner.

Legion is the first expansion that does this to me as I normally play one character certainly while playing a lot of twinks but the main never changed that much.
Being a tank/melee player I did not find any tanking or melee spec enjoyable this time. Every spec has some kind of mechanic or talent I just can't stand but would have to play with it because it's the best one, so I ended my tank/melee "career" and ventured into healing (which I've done before but not to this extend).
Healing is my last straw staying with my guildies and keeping on playing cause I'm just not made to be playing a ranged dps.

You mean just playing the game? I don't understand people that say its hard to gear Alts just because they want to put zero work into it. I hit 110 about a month ago on my Resto druid and without any raiding am already at 935 Ilvl with multiple legendaries and 74 Artifact lvl.

Unless you are wanting to raid top mythic progression it's a piece of cake to have a decent alt->Main change.

How did you achieve that? That is better geared than my main.

I haven't since WotlK, that was the only time in 13 years.

If you raid heroic or late progression mythic (aka casual), you should by now have 940-950 depending on your luck in the past 2 weeks.

Once. Went from VDH to BrM at ToS mythic launch. I joined a serious mythic raiding guild and obviously wanted to go with the best character I had. My bear being out of discussion since I don't like the gameplay. I left them the freedom to choose between DK, monk and DH.

Wat. you can hit 930 just doing World Quests and buying relinquished gear with argunite.

So glad I play WoW casually these days. Always had my Frost DK as my main. Even if they have been nerfed it to hell Im still playing that class cause I enjoy it.

I don't raid anything but LFR. It is not really the gear level but the multiple legendaries and hundreds of billions AP he got in a month.

My WQ's don't even give above 900 gear and i only get 910 gear from argunite. Once i get my legendaries to 1000 i should hit 930. So i don't really know how you got over 930 that way. Unless you were born with a horse shoe up your arse and evey thing you touch TF's up.

Even if they give 880 loot, just doing enough of them will net you a couple of 910+ titanforges sooner than later.

Started as VDH, got into a guild that didn't need tanks, so changed to dps. Got bored before NH and went rogue.

There is some truth to this.
    1. I mained ww monk because I always loved the class pre legion, I still loved it to death raiding through M EN and M NH, but its dps really made me depressed, a month into NH I actually felt like quitting my monk every time I stepped into NH, like what was the point in playing him since every spec in the game (excluding surv hunter) could out dps me
    2. Warrior was always my main in almost every xpac, I played fury all through NH and loved every second of it, the Inner Rage rotation was fucking amazing.
    3. I went frost mage as soon as ToS hit because I hate 'Legion Arms', I think its fucking horrible. I had fun on my mage.
    4. I don't know anymore. Should I keep playing mage? Frost is the only spec I enjoy. Should I go back warrior? I hate bloodbath spec. Should I go back monk, is the dps still mediocre?

    Its tuff

Prot warrior -> prot pala -> dk. Was in the process to swap to druid guardian for KJ mythic progress but then gripping adds became a thing.
