Glancing the article again, I see no mention of topless in it. So it's just as I thought; you're enraged at women wearing tank tops, to the point you call it "topless" and "porn".

I think that's more the case that tits float and impede swimming.

I'm inclined to say "who cares" but I think I got in trouble for that one time so I'll reword it. I'm not exactly sure what the big deal is here.

On social media many parents have posted messages about what their younger children are seeing when they visit the site, expressing alarm at how much of a screen supposedly showing in-game action is focused on a woman's body.
I thought this was interesting. I always find it interesting when parents say stuff like this because when they get to school I can guarantee you they are getting worse than what is on Twitch.

No, you're once again just embarrassing yourself. The article is about women, is there currently an issue of men been sexual on Twitch? If so then yeah that's a potential issue too

    Did you actually read?

The complaints have prompted a crackdown on women streamers who sell sexual services via their Twitch bio. Some have been suspended or banned for a few days and been made to purge links to places such as Patreon where explicit pictures and shows could be bought.

My stance too, I just wonder when it will go full nude. I mean before the complaint this was happening

Some of these women would defiantly get indecent exposure tickets.

Hm, maybe there is a market for that. Maybe I should stream shirtless (since it's ok for men to not wear a shirt) and wear the tightest pair of jeans I can find and a toolbelt and whenever someone subs I can stand up with my junk in the cam and pull out confetti from my toolbelt and throw it in the air.

Something I thought people may find interesting
If they plan to allow it, they should stop being such terrible hypocrites and allow the streaming of nudity in games and adult themed games.

That said if they allow more sexual content the risk is that it easily floods the place.

The problem is that these women who stream like this, create an attitude and environment in which serious female streamers get a LOT of harassment. I know a female streamer who ended up having to be very defensive and protective of herself, because she’d get so much shit thrown at her and absurd sexual advances with men who constantly wanted to join her in what she plays, pestering her and so on and so forth.

So they enforce their rules. What exactly are you complaining about then? Let me guess, all the ones that you want banned, but they aren't being banned when they break no rules.

I agree - Twitch should just add a 'Mature' section and be done with it

The problem is that such a section might really end up impacting the rest of the site, as people tend to not keep their shit where it belongs.

    Having a conversation isn't bitching
I see you repeating this over and over and admittedly I'm only on page 4 out of the whole thread, but in case it wasn't addressed: The streamer itself can set their channel to Mature audience. I personally watch a lot of Dead by Daylight streams and about 1/4th of them have a warning "Intended for Mature Audience" that you have to OK through to access the stream. They do it mostly for the chat culture and drinking streams rather than, ironically, jamming people onto meat hooks, but the point is the same.

So Twitch does in fact have the tools to make channels regulated to mature, and yes, the camgirls could very well enable this if they wished. They don't. However, this doesn't necessarily mean they're doing it to nefarious ends to ensnare children with their breasts. The reality is very, very few channels enables Mature, even in games that actually contain nudity or excessive violence.

Regardless, demographics wise the majority of Twitch IS college aged men, and a decent demographic of women too. Children aren't the majority. And sure, children can lie about their age, but the reality is Twitch makes it very apparent they're targeting adults. Its not intended for kids to grab their parents credit cards and blow bits & subscriptions everywhere, and if it is, then why the hell are the parents giving them the cards in the first place? Shrug.

Just looks like outraged Soccer Moms to me. But if they did start enforcing Mature tags, I'd be fine with it and wouldn't care.

What part of I DON'T CARE EITHERWAY is difficult to understand? If Twitch want busty babes then let 'em but they need to be transparent. They should just allow it and add a disclaimer

Why did streaming content ever become monetized??????????
Why are we giving people money to sit at home and do jack all?!?!?! Ughh...........

You should have to have a degree or vocational training in order to get paid for streaming, you need them for everything else. I think this streaming culture has created a hand-out culture. People are creating Gofundmes and Patreons as random donation boxes of donate to me because I exist.
    It's deplorable.

It only is because of history. Go to South America, the Caribbean and other parts of Europe that aren't the UK and boobs are not sexual and toplessness is accepted for women.

Sounds like jealousy. There's a reason certain streamers get significantly more subscriptions than others, and you can't claim tits because the majority of the highest grossing streamers are male. And there's a reason that a ton of streamers scrape the bottom and can't even reach stable income. There's maybe fifty tops (out of hundreds of thousands of streamers) who get by with excellent game-play alone. Others are genuinely entertaining or charismatic. You'll never see Admiral Bahroo in e-sports, but he's fucking hilarious, engages with his audience and finds funny ways to break games or do silly shit, and he doesn't need a degree or vocational training to justify people blowing money on him over random Joe Schmoes.
