I don't think people aren't saying the women don't have a right to run their streams, just not on Twitch.
They do it one Twitch because Twitch as platform is highly exploitable for the kind of content they are putting out there. They make money on Twitch that they otherwise wouldn't on another site doing less. A site thats supposed to be for gamers and gaming culture has an entire section thats been taken over by camgirls selling patreon nudes and ass shots. Again its not that they are doing its that they are doing it on Twitch. Its created a culture where if you're IRL streaming and it isn't ass and titties you're wasting your time. A culture where if you're a woman on Twitch and you're not giving a little bit of "fan service" you're not worth watching, or even if you happen to attractive then you must be a "titty streamer" too. Its not a problem now it will only fester into one down the line, like ignore a cut until you end up having to amputate your entire arm.
Lets not get into how easy it is for kids to view this stuff and how easy it is for them to give these women money. If Twitch does one thing, just one thing, the need to put in better restrictions because as now now parents might as well let their kids browse chatturbate.
Resident Cosplay Progressive
If kids have access to money they can give in excess of what they're supposed to, then it is failed parenting. Besides, these women are wearing something that can be described as "revealing" and "suggestive", nothing more beside that. I think you're blowing it out of proportions here. Besides, how is watching a girl play a game in revealing clothes going to badly affect some kid in the first place.
If they make money while making others happy, then I don't see anything wrong with it. If there are people that want to watch camgirls do bad gameplay, then let them be. We can always go watch something better as nobody is forcing us to watch them.

Yeah lol if some people are happy watching a sexy girl play some game, then I really don't understand what problem here is. The point of any and all platforms is to occupy people and to make them happy. It is not like anyone is forced to watch these or whatever.

Boobie streamers are cancerous, and should be expunged from Twitch's immune system ASAP. That's my gut reaction, along with most people in chats like Moon's Elajjaz's, DansGaming, etc.
80% of IRL is just chicks in v-necks doing yoga or dancing with cleavage shoved into the camera. Just...doesn't seem in-line with what most of us go to Twitch for; Gaming, commentary, analysis, rambunctious in-game antics...video games in general. Seems like boobie streamers are pushing the boundaries of soft-core "entertainment." Is that okay? Is that not okay? Twitch seems to be fine with it unless there's a nipslip or someone leaves their stream on while they're entertaining themselves. I'm sure it's all accidental, 100%.
I imagine twitch makes bank off of their cut from Bits on these streams though. Hence why they're given a "free pass" of sorts. I also wonder how what the climate is like at Twitch HQ and if there's a big outcry for protecting boobie streamers internally. Could be. It's 2017 after all. "Baiting lonely dudes into giving 3, 4, even 5 digit donations is empowering female streamers" or something like that.
All in all, we can continue to just not watch their content-less streams. And those why enjoy watching taut shirts & questionable yoga can, uh, keep on doing that, I guess. As long as they keep giving these chicks thousands of bucks and as long ad the boobie streamers follow the TOS' guidelines on appearance requirements, it probably won't change.

There has to be a sect of Twitch management who thinks they're fighting the good fight by giving boobie streamers a home, right? As long as their cut keeps on rolling in?
What other reason would they abide boobie streamers for this long? If you're not Soda or Reckful or one of the Korean streamers in IRL you're fucked unless you've got tits.

I mean squats and cleavage aren't that sexual. You see them all the time as a teen without the need for twitch. So I don't really buy the 'protect the children' line of reasoning.
I believe that gaming streams should have some rules, like set a maximum size for facecams, unless it's a talkshow.

Oh, really...
https://socialblade.com/twitch/
The most I've seen is some cleavage and some squats. It's sexual, but a lot of things children are exposed too are. This is quite latent and mild in terms of sexuality, nothing you wouldn't see in a public space (chicks with low cut tops are common). If something more...direct has manifested itself I'd like to know. But from my (limited) exposure, this is hardly deserving of a mature label.
What's strange is that it's getting worse. I don't understand it. Hell, in high school I had girls asking for "nooners" during lunch 2-3 times/week. These days, people get offended over seeing a bit of cleavage or ass. It's stupid.
Except that how you mean something is only relevant if you denote the context when you say it. Otherwise, the default meaning is the literal one. And since none of these women are having sex on camera, it's literally not "whoring".
It's not even that. It's, "Cleavage is offensive!"
And yet little-to-none of the stuff is vulgar or even inappropriate and the stuff that is is clearly marked as such. The entire "but the children" argument is just a lame crutch based on flawed logic. Sex ED is taught in schools. Women breastfeed in public. People wear string bikinis and thongs on public beaches. Baywatch was rate PG. And suddenly a kid seeing some bouncing sweater cleavage is "wrong"? Please.
I am going to make a guess that I assume will turn out fairly accurate, those complaints are coming from US citizens who are parents.
There are not many countries in the Western world that are more prudish about fucking and nudity than this one.
would somebody please think of the children!!!!
haha sorry, but back in my time we had porn-mags when we where 12 at latest. And i'm quite sure thats what it's like all over the world. children don't need to be protected as much as some people think. or do you actually think the american way of being prudes is somehow global standard?
They should do what they want to. If you are a parent, police your own child, don't pile the responsibility on someone else.
Really? This is a clear rule to you?
I said they don't get punished equally. If that would have been a smaller streamer they would have gotten 90 days or a perm banInappropriate Broadcaster Behavior and Attire
Nudity and conduct involving overtly sexual behavior and/or attire are prohibited.
