You're both pretty wrong, I'm not here to bash anyone's style of playing, but you can easily get 1.5 Trillion AP a week if you put in ~90 minutes a day to clear all the AP world quests on the map, do a raid clear, and maximize the amount of Invasion Points you do. I only know because that's how much I made last week and today alone I've earned 300 Billion AP.

If you can't get 300 billion a day you aren't maximizing your AP gains, which is fine, but don't tell others that its impossible. From what you said you're missing out on roughly 30-50 billion AP a day just from not doing broken shore world quests, plus more from the invasion, more from honor gained by warden towers/PvP World Zones, Even more from Invasion Points on Argus. Per day you can get around 35 billion AP just from the invasion points if you don't miss a single one, which is possible, but not healthy. I miss 1-2 invasion points a day because now that I'm past 75 I'm no longer setting my alarm to make sure I don't miss any. But its very easy to make 1.5 trillion AP per week if you're maximizing your playtime.

If it's as under tuned as it appears, that'd be impossible. My guild will not magically have the 20+5 bench players required for Mythic. Soon as we clear Heroic we're done with Legion.

And still eventually it will still take you months to get 1 rank cause AK effectively stopped and rank costs keep ever-increasing.

Apparently Blizzard are adding 50 more Concordance levels, whats the point? Reaching 50/50 right now will take a few years, 100/100 will take a few decades with the current AP requirement scaling.

Maybe they are planning to reduce the AP required for concordance trait?

The mage on top, at 11 Trillion AP, is enough to have 3 weapons at 82 (or 31 ranks of Concordance). THe median for like.. the top 100 AP farm is 6 to 8 trillion. which is enough for 3 weapons to be 77 to 79. If it is just one weapon? 34 ranks of concordance.

Worth noting: 50 ranks requires 865,842,644,766,330. So, almost a quad-rillion AP needed.

Just my toons, as an example:

DH havoc 75/veng 71
Mage 70 fire, 70 frost, 68 arcane
Rogue 72 assassination
Priest 68 shad/65 holy/60 disc
Warrior 71 arms/65 fury.

I don't no-life the game either. I just play efficiently. Characters I spend more time on, get more AP and ranks.

Later down the line they will probably make all Artifact levels after 75 flat 200 bil (or even less than that, just to give people a chance to boost their HP and proc stat every week once or twice for some king of progression).

Concordance and artifact power is part of why I stopped playing, I cannot be assed to have to constantly grind non stop and fall behind on power if I don't. It's turned into fucking Diablo paragon levelling, keep walking the treadmill and never reach the destination but fall behind if you stop. Shitty game design but a lot of people fall right into that trap, or feel obligated in order to justify their position on a raid team.

I suspect this will continue going forward into BFA so I suspect I will continue to be a patch tourist going forward.

1.5/wk would mean that they should be 16 trillion. I don't see that happening
