I expect so, but that means Jones can do what the hell he likes. He isn't going to win again so no need to be a dixiecrat for his term though its not 6 years, he'll be up for reelection in 2020. But either way this is a monumental screw up by republicans. They've just lost an exceedingly important senate seat in a red state with no way to get it back and 2020 will be MUCH more favorable to democrats than republicans.

How toxic and uninspiring is the democrats platform that they scrape a win against a pedo. And how badly has America failed over half a million people that vote for Moore.

Honestly I think it would prove a good point to look back on for the people that voted for him. To see that they were prepared to sell their souls over politics.

If Moore wins, the people just plug their ears and go "at least it worked!" But if he loses, they have to face what they were prepared to do and do some ACTUAL introspection.

That's what I was HOPING would happen for the GOP had Trump lost the lost election; people would see the utterly unqualified craziness they were going to put into office and would have to take a long hard look at themselves. But unfortunately, that's not what happened.

Alabama as restored some of my faith in humanity tonight. They didn't elect a Racist,Sexist Pedophile for there senator. It was barely a win but a win and Alabama hasn't been a democrat state in 25 years until tonight.
