Why did the kill happen? Did they get lucky with procs doing the same thing they did for the last 100 pulls or did they think something up and adjusted what they were doing and killed it in 20-30 pulls (still had to get lucky, obviously, else this wouldn't be a race)?

If we take Sco's word from the previous page clip then it was lack of firepower.

Once they got the gear it was 'easy'.

So I assume like the Chinese they were hitting the enrage (tho obv lower then 30%) and the gear from a reset pushed them over the top.
