Sounds like a USA problem.
How are my EU buddies doing today
To the people saying, "well removing net neutrality would be okay if there weren't monopolies"...wtf? No, it still wouldn't be okay. ISPs are not struggling for money, lol, and net neutrality is not hindering them. All it does is protect YOU from their most heinous of business practices. We should be destroying these monopolies AND keeping NN.
The extreme greed, and the people's willingness to sustain it, is so fucking sickening.
I'm sorry, but you are completely in the wrong here. First, people HATE Comcast. They TOP the "America's Most Hated Company" list. Second, there is no competition because of openly agreed upon collusion to split up the territory, and work with their "competition" to kill off actual competition as it attempts to arise. It's not even hidden - they literally announced deals (reported by the WSJ) they've made to divide up territory and not merge without permission from what should be their competition. Third, they literally got caught throttling Netflix in 2014, resulting in a payout in order to lift it - literally no different than an illegal protection racket. It's why the government introduced NN in the first place.
A quick Google search on "cable company collusion" or "comcast throttling" will tell you all you need to know about how horrible they are as a company and how there is no risk for them in this, only profit. Of course you could also just go with the common sense argument of "If they weren't going to change anything, why spend millions lobbying against it?"

i will never forgive you for this blizzard.
Comcast is the worst. They openly throttle connections or to certain websites well before the ruling.
Verizon and Time Warner tend to already offer tiered internet speeds.
What will be interesting to see is if Comcast can navigate their new fee structures when for example the NFL made a streaming deal with Yahoo recently (owned by Verizon).
Expect a lot of the big players to be fighting each other in court. Pai screwed up not only for consumers but the big players that have deals for streaming services like Verizon for example through the NFL.
May the lore be great and the stories interesting. A game without a story, is a game without a soul. Value the lore and it will reward you with fun!
Don't let yourself be satisfied with what you expect and what you seem as obvious. Ask for something good, surprising and better. Your own standards ends up being other peoples standard.
I dont think they would want to advertise porn. These are just the most popular packages in Portugal for this carrier. I hope no one actually thinks this image is a fake "slippery slope" image. Its not, its reality.

elaborate on that as i'm not sure exactly what your getting at. i mean the russian revolution and syrian civil war has shown for example that people in employ of the entity the people are revolting against are willing to join the opposition either out of the sheer amount of people revolting or because of an ideal. money does not buy enough people to stop a revolution if it comes down to it and a civil war in the u.s. could have dire consequences for the world if the any of the missle silos or an army base were to be captured. i shouldn't have to tell you what that would be. not that a civil war is imminent but the way things are going it might eventually come to that 40 or 50 years down the road if they keep oppressing the poor enough. it has happened dozens of times throughout history and even with technology no government is immune to it.

so then why is rhapsody listed alongside napster when they are the same entity unless i'm mistaken?

You people are scared about net neutrality.
I'm not, because the Internet can and will fight back.
Who knows or cares? Why would ESPN be listed in the video package when they will be out of business within in a year or so? Why is Napster even listed in the first place with such a low user base compared to other streaming services?
I think there is a saying about nickels and dimes, I just cant remember it. /shrug
