I mean Israel is seen as a terrorist organisation in other middle eastern countries. Bit like being Miss GB and saying you believe in love and peace with Miss Al Qaeda.
Whenever I think I'm living in a fucked corrupt government in the US, I take a look at the news coming from those shitty middle eastern countries and I thank my lord and savior, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, I don't live in those backwards shit heaps of a country.

Notice how much prettier Miss Israel is than Miss Iraq? No contest even.
By stating she wished for peace between the two countries, she has already committed what her people would consider "harm to the palestinian cause" since she is 1: Acknowledging that Israel is a country (which Palestinians don't) and 2) Wants to cooperate with them on some degree (which Palestinians don't)
- Christopher HitchensPopulists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
Don't worry. Feminism will save her!
You're so full of propaganda, it is literally bursting out of you and has taken over any previous knowledge or mental faculties you might have had. He literally told you his life story and his family's life story, that they all suffered from greathardship and yet somehow still maintained their empathetic, sane person rationale, and yet all you can blurt out is this drivel. It's like you saw that you were quoted but ignored actually reading what he said and just erupted in idiocy, grasping at straws in the saddest, most desperate way to not have your completely out-of-the-ass point be annihilated, obviously failing spectacularly in the process. Bravo.
Not relevant because “One of my cousins lived through both, being kicked out of one country alongside my father and fighting civil war in another, yet he also can’t grasp that mindset”, so it clearly has nothing to do with having lived through that.
You also claimed that “...bloody generational internecine civil conflict is an unthinkable thing that happens to other people”, yet I voluntarily signed up for military service precisely because I don’t think it is unthinkable, nor that it could only happen to other people. I signed up because it has happened before in my lifetime, because I have seen the devastation it causes and because a third of Cyprus is still under foreign military occupation.
I am also under no illusion that we’d have a hope in hell of winning any war with Turkey, as their military is roughly equal to the entire population of Cyprus.
Do not presume to know what people who have lived through those situations think, nor what I think, you cannot read minds.
This is a discussion on the mythical white privilege isnt it
Just seems like that whole area is just a huge, shining beacon of tolerance and understanding.
And now we're supposed to say this has nothing to do with majority religion in Iraq? Yes, let's avoid elephant in the room. I wonder, how is it that I am quite certain that if Miss Poland took pictures with Miss Israel, she wouldn't have to flee the country for it.
