Comcast being shitty? I thought they were the last vestige of American isp hope
(sarcasm)
And I am sitting here using a somewhat small isp myself. I wounder what they think about this net neutrality thing.
Time...line? Time isn't made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round. ~ Caboose
Well, it looks like you're going to get a chance to see...
That was weird and kinda pissed me off, because I had to force a shut down to fix it...
But I get home, come to my computer, turn my monitor on, I use the monitor's USB hub you see, so I'm a little surprised when my mouse and keyboard don't light up, but my Schiit Wyrd, does. I unplug them. I plug them back in. I unplug the hub from both ends. I plug both ends back in. Nothing. I undo my lovely cable management even! I plug in the keyboard and mouse to the computer directly. Nothing! The Schiit Wyrd now is plugged into a case USB3.0 port, idk why it works but the mouse and keyboard don't. I pull out a less-used mouse of the same type, different color, no bueno! What the hell? I plug my mouse into my 24/7 Folding@Home computer, it lights up. What the fuck?
I force a shut down after looking at my computer for a while, annoyed, because it's going to fuck with the Proteins that are Folding.
Lo and behold it fixes it, though it does say "Overclock failed" on the pre-BIOS screen, so it's very possible the OC did fail at some point, but normally that means BSOD, so I think that might have just been from me forcing the shut down.
I'm really confused what happened.
Your mobo saying there was an overclock failure doesn't necessarily mean there was one. One of my work computers will sometimes BSOD, and pretty much every time I reboot it, it has an OC failure message.. and the computer isn't overclocked.
(To be fair, I put that computer through a lot. As in, I finally found it out it was running really slow because it was thermal throttling... at 100C... and I've left it running like that over weekends. Thermal paste dried out, if you're curious. Whoops.)
[edit: I just realized you mentioned the BSOD in your post already. I somehow derped and missed it. Sorry about that.]

Very nice.
Of course, when going to post, I still get the "Connection Not Secure" notification in Firefox. Probably just images or something, so far only shows up when composing a post.
Nevermind, it looks like it was the image I linked causing it.

I've been told on Facebook in a group with several people who like Bitcoin both gdax and coinbase, but also "one of the exchanges."
They're also saying if I only want to toss in $100 or so, to go Lite/Eth or smaller coins, not Bitcoin, as I wouldn't see any major money unless the coin absolutely soared, which is true, of course.
Have you guys checked out the Fractal Design Define R6? My god it's so good. I was about to get the Define C but decided to wait until the R6 hit the market.
"Those mortal shells that we call bodies, are not ours to keep. The body is a gift of earth that must, one day, be returned from whence it came"
I like the new Define R6, but in a more lukewarm sense. There are things I really don't like, like tempered glass (which is optional), the PSU compartment, raised PCIE mounting and things, so it isn't for me. To me, it's just a Define S with a higher price for a pwm hub.
So while I did wait for the embargo to lift, so I could find out more, I am likely getting a define S now. Define C isn't for me at all, because of how shallow it is.
