Toxic blade and Kingsbane usage

I'm seeing different things on guides about the usage of these 2. Some say always use TB first, so that KB hits harder, whereas other guides state that use TB on the last 8 secs on KB for the higher dot damage. Which is the better one now?

Always try to fit 2+ envenoms into TB. use KB and TB on cooldown. Keep envenom/virulent poisons as close to 100% uptime as possible.

TB is your burst window. KB is more about maintaining the envenom buff. Don't delay either one if you can help it. TB definitely buffs KB, but delaying either one will be sub-optimal.

This. I switched my usage of TB after reading exactly that and my DPS improved noticeably.

I mean..even if you dont think about it, you can fit 2 envenoms easily within a TB. You dont even have to think about it.

The question technically still goes unanswered. If both are up relatively at the same time (withing 5 seconds) do you guys use TB and then KB, or wait for last 8 seconds of KB then TB?

Opener - use TB then KB.
Normal rotation - use them on CD, but try to keep up envenom buff during KB.

It is, neither nor. use both CDs on cooldown, dont delay anything if you cant help is (like refreshing rupture or pooling for energy). Planning beforehand is Assassinations Mastery ^^.

Neither nor is a good reply because its situational.

For example if you are on Kingaroth and killing an add, its better to Kingsbane the add and wait for last 8 seconds and use TB to buff the KB. Adds usually die within 15-20 seconds depending on your raid dps. So it will give you a burst.
But if you are on a single target fight, its a dps increase to use TB and KB on cooldown. In 6 minute fight you can use 6 KB and use 12 TB. If you wait TB for each KB you lose 6 TB hits + 150 seconds of buff to your other poisons such as Deadly poison and envenom. The 150 seconds of buffed poisons is more than the numbers you can get on last 6 x 8 seconds of dot of KB.

So IF both are up AND if you will not change targets in the next 90 seconds at the very least then you use them on CD.
IF both are up and IF what you are attacking will survive 20 seconds BUT no more than 90 seconds (second KB) then you use KB and wait for last 9 seconds of KB.
