Hanzo is pretty fun. You will definitely want to invest in Quick Cast settings (for me it's on Release) because otherwise Q feels really fucking weird and it will take months for anyone to master Scatter Arrow. Scatter Arrow talents make him a better jungler than any specialist.
Also, pick Dragon Arrow. Dragonstrike is fucking ass chunks.

Playing him right now in EU - he is out.
His D (trait) is really clunky and not helpful at all. One thinks a Genji jump, but is does not work most of the time as i would assume it should do. Probably because i have another interpretaion of "terrain" than the trait has.
On the other hand pretty cool and refreshing. His Q takes some practice. HIs W too.
They need to make his D work like Genji's, it's really awkward to use.
His kit is weird as hell for an assassin since he should never get clear shots on healers. Even then he is a poker, not a straight out assassin and he should never be able to kill a healer at 20, which makes him as a sniper useless.
He's fun, but he's bad. Outright bad. His E needs to be as fast as it is at 20 and stun from the start. And even then he'd still have major issues in the form of no defence/reliable escapes. Why should I choose Hanzo over Genji or Greymane or Nova?
Edit: Best Hanzo kill ever is already claimed

He was aiming for Sylvanas :')

I'm not getting his Level 1 AA talent ever again.
It's fine at early game- where your survival expectancy isn't "Welcome to the DIE THRU" but if you lost it once in the midgame you will never get it back because being in AA range with a wonky D trait is like being Graymane without his E.

I'm actually starting to think he's not as bad as I initially thought. With the level 16 and level 4 Q talents he is very good at clearing and if you can catch the enemies around 2 minions in a cone you'll AoE them for 1500 damage which is not bad at all. His ultimates could use buffs, especially Dragonstrike.. but he's been fun so far. I expected him to be trash. Maybe it's just because I really know how to position myself or because I play against noobs, but I've been doing well with him so far.
You definitely want to go Q build, his W is pretty unreliable. His level 1 Q talent is a must have for the range.
Hanzo has been reduced to 10k gold already. Happy Holidays!
PSA: Hanzo is bugged right now.
Specifically his movement when holding down right mouse button. In try mode I was able to figure out that it is tied to his Storm Bow (his Q). Whenever it is on cooldown he controls normally but the moment it comes off cooldown he treat any input from the right mouse button as a single click... meaning he wont follow your curser even if you hold it down.
It's very jarring....
Oh that's what it is... I was just playing him in QP today and his movement was broken as fuck (not talking about slowing down during Storm Bow, that's normal) so came here to see if there's any news on that at all and this sounds similar to what I was seeing without more testing. Normally I find the whole "literally unplayable"-thing funny, but it's actually almost true here. I hope they fix him soon, I want to play him but this broken movement is super frustrating.
Hanzo feels fine to me.
My only complaints are that his D/trait just feels like a gimped or inferior version of Genji's, and that Scatter Shot builds are just not worth playing when compared to the Storm Bow/Basic Attack builds. Scatter Shot just feels too gimmicky.
Q build is OP and i guess nerfs will happend.
When i counter Artanis, on level 7 i take talent, what Q and auto attacks deals more damage to shielded targets like Artanis, Tassadar etc. This not work actually on Varian parade talent 4 level or Medivh bubble.

Scatter Shot build is the best Merc build bar none, and makes Hanzo -the- best Mercenary Camper in the game- it also does obscene damage to large objective vehicles like Dragon Knight and Immortals even without the bonus damage. My only complaint is that the initial arrow doesn't scatter when hitting a Hero.
Yeah, because that's 'Invulnerable' which isn't shields. Actually reading this post through, were you drunk?
I don't see how Q will get nerfed. It takes effort consisting landing your shots and not have them blocked.

So... after the buff is it worth to grab a double dragon ultimate? Currently i've found only two maps where it can be useful - temples and volskaya

Trying him out for the first time, he's definitely a play to 5 and then never tough again for me
