WoW first page is filled with completely retarded comments.
In the video the action bar has the bars stacked up and not removed like standard live action bar.
in live the action bars go:
    Bar 2 Bar 3
    Bar 1 System Menu

In the video it is just
    Bar 2
    Bar 1

The system menu and stuff are NOT on the second half of the screen, they're outside of the main bar. that is so obvious you don't even need to turn on your brain to notice it, just need to not be a complete retard

That's the point, actual abilities you need all the time are limited, with utility or other abilities that, some if you do everything right, you won't even touch, like Aspect of the Turtle. Then there are abilities that can be basically interchanged, like Cheetah or Disengage, unless it's a really high mobility fight, than you may need both.
Like I said, my rotation = 8 buttons pressed. Without macros, there'd be more. Not even BM gets away with just 4-5 buttons pressed in order to execute optimal performance.

And you don't need to do something wrong in order to utilize the full toolkit, especially during progression in order to help out the healers/tanks.

I have 23 keybinds alone for my Resto druid, all which I use in nearly every fight/dungeon/raid.

And I have 17, as in all abilities on-use ready with macros (baked-in) included.

Not that I play and thus can't compare healers to DPS.

Edit: Make that 19, I forgot to count for 2 keybinds that are invisible outside of combat to me.

    Multi
    Aspect of turtle
    Aspect of cheetah
    TS Aura
    +Concussive because of leggo

I'm not saying all your abilities are 4-5, I'm saying buttons you actually press on a regular basis.
You never use exhilaration in raids? Your healers must be gods. Also never using disengage? Feign death? Aimed shot?...

    Exactly.

The class pruning aimed to keep abilities that we use on a regular basis. But that's besides the point, since MM and not even BM have 4-5 abilities as part of their performance. I'm sure there are people out there capable of macroing the shit out of classes, but that isn't exactly how the classes play at their basic state.

This is literally just a cosmetic change, I don't understand why this is thread worthy.
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.

Probably because the default ui has remained largely unchanged since the launch of the game 13 years ago

Yes, because there really wasn't any need to change it... It's fine, and for everyone who doesn't like it, there's a billion mods to change it already.

Blizz finaly realized that most people have their actionbar like that with addons.
Since i started the game in 2009, the first thing i did was getting some addons to get rid of the standard interface and to this day i almost use the exact same handcrafted interface although some addons came, went away or were replaced.
Left is the chat, in the middle are 4 bars stacked on top(bar 4 is empty, mostly for quests use items), right is a packed together actionbar for clickable stuff and details+ the option icons.
    Dying could endanger your health!
