Peacefully protesting unjust killings is "whiny and entitled" now.

Considering the statistics behind it, yes it is. And when you get NFLers comparing themselves to slaves for playing football and making millions, yes it is.

It's not so much the protesting, it's the drama he brings to a team. If he was on a team there would be everyone looking at him again, even though half the league is "protesting". It would still be an issue if he did it.

And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. And there was given unto them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Kapernick's best years were with a stout O-line, plenty of receiver choices, and a great Coach in Harbaugh. There's a reason that he disappeared from the spotlight shortly after their departures. Mobile quarterbacks also have short shelf lives in the NFL.

It's always fun seeing people who probably aren't football fans talk about how great of a QB Kap is though.

Not really sure how to respond. I never said or implied that he wouldn't come across the same issues to any degree; only that the nfls handeling of them has created an opportunity to take another swing at it.
