Mythic + and why you shouldn't expect to get invited with low score

I've been trying to get in a normal +15 group to do my weekly on my warrior for the past 30-ish minutes.

One thing I can say is lately I've seen more favoritism towards range classes since they can just cheese a lot by out ranging it. Nothing to do with you, just that in general people who do m+ constantly, push high keys all the time with their circlejerk and then set absolutely ridiculous requirements for even the lowest keys (like my example) possible.

It's incredibly infuriating, sometimes I don't have time to do my runs on wednesday with guildies so I leave some characters for later that week and every single time I regret doing it because it's such a pain in the ass to get in a group because everyone thinks "high m+ score= better player" . Community is just blinded by this random metric given by wowprogress/raider.io . Sorry if I came off hostile towards you (I'm still trying to find a group XD) , it's just too sad to me.

Also , I don't think many people would do m+ at all if titanforging did not exist, why would I even do any sort of m+ when I can't get upgrades (especially push keys for more loot, if the loot is useless, the quantity doesn't matter)

If you consider him to be a prime example of a mythic raider (I don't, but he's the outspoken one here on this forum), then you should pity the state mythic raiding is in. You should also realize (if you haven't already) how destructive mythic raiders can be and why people are generally NOT always happy to have them on board for their activities (m+, or whatever else). I left two raiding guilds because of toxicity and never looked back - best choices of my WoW life. "You" I mean the general you, not anyone personally.

Manipulating information based upon which he tried to make the other person look bad.
Playing his ego card around.

I raid with my friends to progress through a tier as fast as possible and ideally finish it with a good ranking (although I surpassed the point where I cared about ranks because they are meaningless and you get to understand that the more you play the game and be xp'd )

If you fail on a mechanic, officers/RL call you out, sometimes there are arguments (because at the time you think that they thought you failed bla bla) and even I sometimes do random redundant argument in the guild, but everyone moves on 2 mins after that, we move on to the next try.

If you can't handle criticism or harsh language time to time, sorry but we're not here to babysit your emotions. It goes the same for everyone. I think you should grow a pair. Also, I don't know you, nor do you know me, I don't know how you can even make assumptions like that, but judging from what you posted regarding leaving guilds due to toxicity , I think you are quite the emotional type. The type that easily gets offended due to being called out on a mistake ; I call people out a lot during m+ when they screw up so they a) know for the next time b) stop wasting my time with random mistakes (that may seem easy to me but perhaps difficult to others) but you automatically play better by playing with good players, so. I guess none of that is going for you except for the offending part. Which is none of my problem.

But apparently no one even uses the addon considering it either takes like 3 minutes for me to get accepted or I just instantly get declined due to reasons, needs to be more popular.

You can link your account to raider.io - that way your main's score will show in the addon when you apply to groups on your warrior. I know that you don't main your death knight at the moment, but I think (might be wrong) that it will show the maximum score you've gotten on any of your characters.

You can link your account to raider.io - that way your main's score will show in the addon when you apply to groups on your warrior. I know that you don't main your death knight at the moment, but I think (might be wrong) that it will show the maximum score you've gotten on any of your characters.

You just need to mark one of your characters as "main" on raider.io. It will show that specific character's rating as "main's rating" for all of your other chars.

The addon gets updated once per day, so it might easily be another ~18 hours until your main character's score starts to show up in-game.

Never been any more complicated.
People with these scare addons are always good for a laugh.

But doing all of the dungeons doesn't mean anything? Like... who the fuck cares if I can clear all of the dungeons on 15? I literally ONLY farm Upper Kara and Darkheart since those are the only two dungeons that give me ANYTHING worthwhile. Those are the only two I NEED to do, and those are the only two I queue up for. But, people look at my M+ score and laugh despite having Cutting Edge KJ or being 5/11 M after week one in a weekend 2 night raiding guild. -shrug-

Also I've server changed a LOT this expansion. Thrall--> Mal'ganis-->Sen'jin-->Zul'jin-->Tichondrius. So... you can't even go back to check my old score from when I actually used to do these things for fun instead of for BiS relics and trinkets.

You can get like 30 applicants within a minute easily, even with 950 ilvl requirement. There's no reason for anyone to invite your characters over others who sign up earlier or are bringing some utility you might lack, especially since as per your understanding M+ score is BS, rendering your score (from this or previous seasons) useless aswell.

Mythic+ score is a flawed system and means nothing. It is one of the reasons why I stopped doing mythic+.

Uh... well I was in a guild on Thrall and my old US top 100 guild from MoP came back and were begging me to join them again during Nighthold on Mal'ganis. They fell apart on Mythic Elisande progression so I joined a guild on Sen'jin. They server changed to Zul'jin for a bigger server. Then they fell apart too... so I'm raiding on Tichdondrius with a guild mostly composed of alts from other bigger guilds like Big Dumb Guild for example.

No idea when I have been salty unless you think me giving examples of me getting declined to groups is "salt" when I am only pointing out the stupidity of people forming groups and their ridiculous requirements.

To be fair I didn't expect much from the thread, 2 sides to this and one of the sides refuses to understand M+ score doesn't mean you are good, other side doesn't really have a counter-argument because as useless m+ score may be, there isn't any other metric. It's actually more useless than gearscore but what can you do, just have to suck it up and farm useless dungeons to get your score up I guess, is the only way, for now, until the addon starts becoming more popular at least.

Nah, I have fuck all score myself but I don't come crying here talking about how people demand high scores. You're just so entitled about the thought of someone declining your grace. I mean, people should be thankful for you even looking at their groups And thinking that gearscore is more relevant than M+, lol. In your case it literally boils down to the understanding that whatever you do/have is the best of the best and if people dare to decline you based on some criteria you personally don't meet, they are garbage and retarded. Sure, buddy.

Also, here's a crazy thought. Do your own key. You're a tank, your group will fill up extremely fast. And instead of 'trying to find a group for hours', just push your key to ... let's say 18? You'll get a 17 key next week, 16 the week after etc and saves you from the headache of trying to find someone else's key. And just for the thrills, make sure you only invite people with no score.

I assumed he is queueing as a DPS on his alts but even if he's a tank you often get apps from tanks in double-digits.

LOL M+ score is the worst measure of someone's performance, maybe ever. Even LFR is harder than AoE bumrushing M+. I'd take someone with mythic achievements and cutting edges over some tryhard with "23+ experience" any day.
