The point is that if you're mutually interested, you can talk. If not, you can't. Why would I want someone I'm not interested in messaging me? All that does is put me in the position of having to tell them I'm not interested.

I am talking about the odds. It's hard for both people to find each other profiles AND like them with so many people on Tinder.

It's limited to the range you set. If you're getting too many, lower the range. Once you've swiped either direction on all the available people in your area, it will tell you so. If they're on there, they'll show up eventually.

If you swipe right on everyone continuously the algorithm will put you very far back in the swipe queue so barely anyone see you.

When I used to use Tinder, it mainly served the purpose for hooking up, but I had some friends find girl friends using it, but I don't know if thats still the case.

I had 6 "matches" on Tinder.
First 3 were prostitutes, one of whom "Meet me at the X across the bridge in Trenton, we'll talk cash in person." No, no, and if I have to pay for sex, I shouldn't be having sex.
One "Internet lingerie model" who if I logged into her website, gave my CC to prove I'm over 18, we could meet in person. No thank you and good luck.
One actual person who we talked a few days then she stopped responding. *shrug*
And one beautiful woman who has put up with my shit for almost 3 years.
