The journalist is right though. Why is Trump constantly attacking the FBI and trying to undermine their authority/integrity in the public's eye, if he truly believes he will be exonerated? Why the constant threats and saber rattling at Mueller? Why is the alt-reich so desperate to remove and/or neuter Mueller if they truly believe Trump is innocent?
(The funny part is, I just copy pasta'd someone's post from the Clinton investigation and changed a few nouns around. Back then, I said this exact same shit would happen if one of their guys was ever under heavy scrutiny and investigation, that they'd jerk off to their guy and throw every conspiracy theory in the book to try and discredit the investigation. It's so nice to be vindicated.)

Sounds about right.
The GOP has stooped to attacking the FBI because they are terrified of what Bob Mueller might find.
Because really, if they were so sure that this is much ado about nothing and that Trump is innocent, wouldn't they want the investigation to finish and prove that?

Are you trying to prove his point? If you believe that the FBI is tainted, for no reason other than the fact you voted for Trump, you are confirming what OP is saying. What is Trump so worried about if he isn't guilty? If he's so innocent, like you and others try and make anyone believe with your lame attempts, then why is he trying so hard to stop the investigation and those doing it at every turn? The entire right-wing political spectrum is about fear. Just look at the individual right-wing parties across the world, the fear of somebody is what they have all in common. Not so called lower taxes or smaller government, they don't really care about that. You don't get a small government when you are constantly looking for enemies or trying to take down enemies.
If you look at the GOP specifically the current list of enemies are Clinton, Obama, BLM, La Raza, Soros, FBI, Muslims, Jews, Latino's, Antifa.
I tried to be specific because I don't think like the vague terms (see below) but fear is what defines the right-wing. The fear of groups that are either fictional (Antifa) or exist but blown out of such a proportion that they manage to justify every horrible and disgusting action.
Liberals, Progressives, Che Guevarians, Castroites, Socialists, Gramscites, Trotskyites, Maoists, Leninists, Stalinists, Marxists, and Democratic Socialists, which is what President Obama is:
