Why is the Horde more of an Alliance than the actual Alliance?

tfw the alliance's high king was given the position because he fell out of the right #$%!@&. no military experience at all, it's just that king chin was his dad.

the horde has given multiple races the chance to shine, it has undead, elves, orcs and friends working together. and soon thalyssra and the nightborne will be joining us too.

the alliance likes to call themselves an alliance, but really it's led by a spoiled brat, who's being manipulated by chewbacca. other leaders like velen, tyrande, and the dwarven chick just show up to collect their paychecks for the expansion every 3 patches or so.

so why is the horde more of an alliance than the alliance?

Lol. All of the races in your Horde literally hate each other but only work together out of necessity of not being roflstomped off the planet. Some "alliance" you have, there.

    Because Blizzard's writers are incompetent.

    Which isn't news to anyone.

Why did we need this thread again?

the alliance is more unified in the sense that they blindly follow the wrynns.

Of all the horde leaders...the only one that didn't actively oppose Garrosh would be Gallywix...who was just sitting on the fence.

I Lol'ed. The Horde is an Alliance of convenience. Its never really had much structure to it anyway, you kind of make it up as you go.....

Regarding the Alliance, who else is going to be the High King ? Tyrande,Muradin,Velen,Mechatorque probably wont even bother,Genn and his Worgen are too few in number to hold that much power over the entire Alliance.Stormwind has the most powerful military ,probably ,and Varian was the former High King. When he died they dumped the title on Anduin. And since he's a pacifist nobody's gonna think he's gonna throw away soldiers in needless wars.

The only reason you started this thread was to try to make the nicknames "king chin" and "chewbacca" popular.

Stop trying to make fetch happen.

Opinions change, but he is making another point even if he is calling for more horde unity in the future.

Horde fanboys are always so delusional.

Nope. The lore team confirmed in the past that the role of High-King has very little influence on the various members of the Alliance's High-Command. Alliance members can refrain from giving their forces to the High-King and can even act independently should they not agree with his calls (like Greymane did in Stormheim, after all). Indeed, the name 'High-King's misleading, it's more of a 'Supreme Commander' than an actual monarch.

Bearing this in mind, it truly doesn't matter who the High-King is, as Alleria, Tyrande, or any other Alliance leader, are not bound to follow his orders. The King of Stormwind, being the most powerful force in the Alliance, and effectively serving as the 'glue' that is keeping the various members of the Alliance together, would naturally also be the High-King.

And the Alliance was never shattered by civil war, unlike the Horde.

Therefore, the sooner you learn the difference between the High-King and the Warchief, the better. To put this in perspective, If Anduin ordered Tyrande to attack Orgrimmar, Tyrande would be legally allowed to ignore the High-King's call without suffering any consequence. But if Sylvanas ordered Baine to attack Stormwind, Baine would forced to serve the Warchief's command. Indeed, this has been the case during the reigns of Thrall and Garrosh too. When Garrosh ordered Sylvanas to attack Gilneas, Sylvanas had no other choice but to follow the Warchief's clear command.

The Void. A force of infinite hunger. Its whispers have broken the will of dragons... and lured even the titans' own children into madness. Sages and scholars fear the Void. But we understand a truth they do not. That the Void is a power to be harnessed... to be bent by a will strong enough to command it. The Void has shaped us... changed us. But you will become its master. Wield the shadows as a weapon to save our world... and defend the Alliance!

Anything the Alliance can do, the Horde can do better.

Well this is a bit of a silly thread...

Tell me, what races in the Alliance dislikes each other? Because in the Horde, you can spot a few.
