Lordaeron is WoW's Jerusalem. Nobody needs it, but everyone is fighting over it.

Lol if any member of the forsaken who would resent anything related to Arthas learns of her whereabouts ( and or possible intentions) she'd probably need protection 24/7 even to take a dump.

That's kind of a cool correlation. One could even compare Undercity to the Temple Mount/Haram esh-Sharif, and Capital City proper to Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Forsaken could demand access beneath it after the Alliance makes it defensible; only they'll be looking for stores of plague instead of the Holy of Holies.

That's sort of the plot of Game of Thrones.

That's merely speculation on your part.

    >In the Legion beta, she would say in N Priest [100] Agent of Aid that she has renounced her claim to the throne of Lordaeron, declaring it a lost kingdom.

    >This quest, along with any other mention of Lordaeron from her, has since been removed. As such, it is unknown what her stance on the kingdom is now. However, one of her click-quotes is still "It's just Calia now".

Of course they remove it because they had to keep the kids happy with their illusions that she would one day "reclaim" lordaeron

Blizzard did this on too many occasions to count. They removed parts of the Dalaran scenario when Jaina goes through with the purge, they removed tons of notable characters from the Halls of Valor and so on. Many things didn't make it in the end. This is why I doubt they removed it because someone would be upset.

The Forsaken don't need it either but it obviously represents and holds strong sentimental value to them, of who they were, it's practically part of their identity, almost as strong as the Sin'dorie.

The night elves Teldrassil isn't even that tied to them as a culture or as part of their life and identity as a people, if anything I consider Ashenvale to be more integral to them , and look at the state it's in since joining the Alliance, but eh, that's an annoyance for another time

That quest was just a breadcrumb. It didn't have anything substantive to it.

Okay, so.. there is supposed to be some relevance to this in regards to Calia and Lordaeron?

Other than the sister of the prince of the ex-kingdom of lordaeron claiming that she renounced to any attempt at retaking her former home, but sure, whatever

That isn't canon, just like Orgrim's and Daelin's presence aren't canon in the Halls of Valor.

    Are you really this "dumb"???

This is why I doubt they removed it because someone would be upset.

They have removed shit in the past people because people were upset, removing Calia lines about Lordaeron was a preemptive measure to avoid kids crying in the forums

Mod Edit: Don't use giant font sizes in this manner, it is distracting and unnecessary.

The only thing missing is "Lordaeron is no more." which is such an obvious statement that it's meaningless. Calia still says "It's just Calia now."

Nothing in that article or the tweets suggest Blizzard changed the name because people were pissed. People were pissed because Blizzard changed the name.

The fact that they removed one thing because some people complained doesn't mean they removed this too because some other people complained. You're drawing senseless parallels.

Yeah, I'm thinking they're just leaving their options open for future plot development. Where would the Highmountain recruitment quest be today if Spiritwalker Ebonhorn was still Wrathion?
