in the interview with finalboss/method they specifically said the reason their rogues were sin over sub for argus was for the execute bracers on p4. even if they did know about it they probably weren't using it, or they'd have been sin on more than 1 or 2 bosses. you can't tell me i can't assume while also assuming.

I would be surprised if Balanced Blades doesn't overtake Master Assassin after the first relic considering how much it drops in value after 1x.

i'm probably going to be shooting for 3 master alch, 1 MA, 2 BB. Thank god the right relics are all over the place in antorus.

MA has a bad second level because of errors in the APL regarding Vanish / TB holding. It is far better than BB in all ranks.

I'm glad they fixed this (even if they probably didn't fully fix it). The whole "replace mut with fok" was really slow and stupid and I hated building CP with it.

As long as people have kept up even a little bit on their sin wep (at least level 75), then yes, I think more and more people will switch over. It's already been happening a bit with the FoK build, and I imagine it will just keep growing after the changes. Of course, people will still stay sub and do just fine in the raid, and there are a couple fights where sub has some advantages over assassin. But overall, assassin has just been better this tier, and I don't see that changing much on Tuesday unless if blizz buffs sub or changes their bad t21 set.

People didn't "figure it out". The theorycraft community did. A Top player is the one that puts commit and dedication to extreme, and is able to swift adapt to any mechanic needed. They are not necessarily TCers, most of them just follow whatever the SimC tells them to do.

Just like any society. But they do not necessarily overlap. And it definitely takes a different set of skills to define the optimal game play versus playing optimally.
