She is smart, business savvy (and successful, ahem), and has a huge following and is incredibly generous. If we're going to pick people who haven't run for office previously as Presidential candidates going forward, she is a terrific candidate.

She's not qualified to be president, but Trump isn't as well, so....

Why not elect Mickey Mouse? It's just as reasonable of an idea.

I'd look at Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado in particular, and any other Governor that hits term limits in January 2019 or January 2021. Not saying it's gonna be him, but someone of that profile today is FAR more likely than Elizabeth Warren or Michelle Obama, or Oprah.
Maybe, but I think some silly things like how someone looks or in the case of Hickenlooper simply his name could be a detriment. Andrew Cuomo looks like a US President, I wouldn't count him out just because of that, these things can be horribly simplistic sometimes.

Oprah, with The rock VP. They will beat Trump by a land slide. Calling it now.

All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

While I am sure she would be better than the current president (not much of a challenge), would it not be better to get someone with actual knowledge and experience in politics?

Politics is not considered a respectable profession for talented people to aspire to in the United States.

I don't care who runs for president as long as they do the job correctly. We have had people with experience and a person who clearly lacks it (Trump) and each did piss poor.

Doesn't matter if they are a celebrity as long as they do the job correctly.

    I hope not.

I also hope the Democrats don't field nothing but a bunch of "progressives" during the primary. I would prefer an establishment types like Biden or Harris.

In fairness, the same could be said about Trump and how he won against all other Republicans.

Agreed. However, she is almost brilliant, and could really ease into the position. I'm with you that experience counts, but if the trend moves away from that, then Oprah is a perfect candidate.

Elizabeth "Pocahontas" Warren is a complete joke. She wants to regulate our country to death. Also she has a shrill coldness like Hillary, she will never beat Oprah!

Let's be honest, we all know she'd win against Trump. Fck it, even Kanye West could probably do that.

I feel like the presidential shit in NA is a huge meme at this point. I hope they can get a president who's capable of getting results and not a clown like they have now.

Can we stop being racist please? Thanks.

Protecting consumers from the finance sector is 'regulating the country to death' apparently.

Why is it only female politicians are described as 'shrill'?

Probably because most men don't have high pitched voices.

That is not quite true. There are many talented and hardworking politicians.
One issue might be the huge amount of poorly educated and poorly informed voters. Oprah might do well with thoes voters, much like Trump did though. Voters on the other side of the fence in many cases but still.
