The English dub for Violet Evergarden is pretty great!

I'm not hopping on the "AOTY" train like the KyoAni fanboys do every time they release a show. That being said, I think the first episode was legitimately very good (aside from one very out-of-place anime trope, and the continuing confusion over whether or not Violet is a human or a robot). Thumbs up!

I watched the English dub with Erika Harlacher as Violet, Ben Pronsky as Benedict, and Kyle McCarley as Hodgins. McCarley particularly nailed the inflections in Hodgin's voice. I encourage you to watch the ENG dubbed version if you haven't already.

Tbh I have watched so much anime that I have basically learnt japenese, I dont even need subs anymore so when you said dubbed I just assumed you meant dubbed in proper nippon
