Small doubt about unlocking the allied races.

So, this is probably a very stupid question and I think I know the answer, but I am not 100% sure and haven't found an answer for it.

I have completed the whole campaigns and I am exalted with all factions... but I don't own any alliance character at max level... do I get to unlock Void Elves and LF Draenei or it can only be done with an alliance character?

As far as I know, you will be able to unlock the horde races with an aliance char and vice versa.

Unlock requirements are Account-wide so as long as one of your chars meet the criteria you will be fine.

Can only be done with an alliance character at 110 as theres a quest chain to unlock them from the emissaries. Im the same so ill use my character boost (assuming they are still including one with BfA) to make an ally toon to unlock the races lol.

There's two steps that you have to do to play an allied race

1st one is to unlock them.

To unlock them, you gotta complete the achievments and quests tied to them.

The achievments can be done with either a horde or alliance toon.

The especific quests however, the ones that you're sent to the ambassador building or w/e, must be done by a 110 horde or alliance toon.

After these steps, you unlocked said allied race you want.

But to PLAY them, you have to meet another criteria, wich is

having a 110 toon, w/e the faction on said realm you want to play.

So lets say, you unlocked them, wich is account wide, on illidan realm.

But you want to play an allied race on..w/e, Stormrage realm.

If you dont have a 110 toon on Stormrage, you wont be able to create an allied race, even if you have unlocked them.

Of course unlocking those would on an alliance character, Anduin isn't going to ask a Orc to help them recruit the Lightforged

You will need a 110 Alliance to do the intro quests for them, but the account achievements for getting Exalted with Lightforged and Argussian Reach on your Horde should mean you don't have to get them again.
