Remember, Hati just got hit by natural disasters as well and the contracts to help repair it were given (no bid) to the Clinton Foundation. The Clinton foundation then sub contracted the work to firends and donors (high level cronyism) who took the money and left Hati a disaster (and never did the work).

Now what is worst? Calling Hati a "sh***hole" or actually robbing the money that was supposed to "fix" Hati and actually being part of the reason that Hati is a "s***hole?" Where is all the liberal outrage on that? People are actually suffering because of that foundation......

Also, we are 10's of trillions of dollars in debt to China and it increases every year..... Where is the money going to come from for additional social services for more immigrants?

Should we borrow even more money from China in order to provide additional social services to let in more immigrants? Does that make any sense?

If you are six months late on the rent, do you run out and donate you whole check to charity then get thrown out on the street or do you pay your rent?

I personally don't think we should let in anymore immigrants (from anywhere- even Norway) until we pay China back- we don't have the money.

The problem with Trumps statement isn't that these countries aren't shitholes, but rather he conflates it with the people coming from there. It's literal racism - They are from from X therefore they must be Y.

The ironic thing is that Americans, by and large, are generally proud of our shithole origins, and we all have family stories of how we came from nothing back in the old country and seized the opportunity to make something of ourselves in this brave new world or whatever. So why should it be any different for this new batch of prospective immigrants?

And who did you think those settlers were? The one thing pretty much all Americans have in common is that we all basically come from families that were at the very bottom of society, who emigrated to try their luck somewhere else. Just about the only people who have any claim to a noble lineage are the descendants of those savages who managed to survive the turmoil, the rest of us all started from the bottom and now we're here.
