Some people enjoy leveling and are looking forward to this?
I even plan on deleting all alts who are not 110 yet so I can relevel them through the updated experience.

Well, that's great. Here I was thinking of constantly skipping Pandaria.
If you think this is Blizzard looking out for your "Leveling Experience" you're naive.
This change does basically two things.
1) It lengthens out the leveling process giving Blizzard that sweet sweet subscription money.
2) It takes the people who don't want to spend the (boring) time leveling and incentivizes character boosts.
This change is ALL about money.
In my day we didn't have World of Warcraft or Guild Wars. We had World War 2, and when you shot at the Germans it aggroed five thousand of their friends!
"A blind, deaf, comatose lobotomy patient could feel my anger!!"
I personally can't wait for the patch and start leveling again. I really hope to see good old group quests, dungeons being hard and such.
Just wanted to say thank you to all of the hyperdefensive people angrily disagreeing with me, thanks for keeping this thread front and center, the more you bump it, the more people will be informed of the changes. That is my only goal, I'm not here to change minds, I'm here to inform

Thanks for telling me how I feel! That's a cool new way to look at this topic! "Anyone who disagrees with me must not actually know how they feel, let me post to tell them how they really feel!"

Yeah, and we're talking about walking vs going somewhere with a car, not the work itself.
The point is that some people do indeed want to get through 60 and the 50 other levels that were added since Vanilla and get into current content as quick as possible, and some people want to stay and do every quest they can (even if they did them before) and enjoy the scenery of the old world.
Both groups have valid points, since the ever-growing level cap changes the situation here. You can't expect people to keep slogging through it just to get an alt into BfA content, or the expansions following BfA that will undoubtedly raise the level cap even higher.
And those that want to look around and immerse themselves have a valid point, too. Yet it seems easier for both groups to just accuse the other of whining or bitching.
Don't bother arguing with them. It's like trying to explain quantum mechanics to a cat. That's why I stated in my op I didn't make them thread to debate them, I made it to inform. I'm only responding to truly ridiculous posts like people making a claim that I'm literally the only one who didn't know this was coming, or the guy who's tried to tell me I don't actually feel the way I feel (lol)

Nah I think leveling is the funnest part of the game. Can't even enjoy it these days because it goes so stupid fast.
Unfortunately as I want void elf to be my new rogue (and/or mage depending on how horrible leveling ends up being with the nerfs, otherwise I might just wait until we get the inevitable 110 boost free with expac purchase), I have no choice but to suffer and wait to level one of them for that heritage armor >.>
Unless they all of a sudden announce soon that you don’t actually need to level them from fresh to 110 for the heritage armor, then fuck that I’ll just level one now and race change later lol.
I mean, I don't think level is that much suffering, but my viewpoint is that now we're approaching the 150s, we can't really be asked to push through every expansion just to get a new alt up to par anymore, and either they need to squish the level experience (as an optional thing for those who want to, maybe?) or increase the amount of XP gained in an hour. Right now, with 7.3.5 it's slightly reduced.
It's not a nightmare, and the fact that you don't outlevel quests certainly does help, but I disagree with any notion that exp needs to decrease/exp requirement needs to increase in any form, even if a tiny bit, so that's more a principles thing.
If you can't muster to walk your alts through a proper level experience then having alts is not for you . Buy the boost and stfu , guess you'll cry everytime you log in if ever you'll decide to give a try to classic , You know , running around for 40+ levels because you won't even have the golds to buy the riding skill + mount ?
I don't see how it makes leveling take longer when you can continually level in an area until you've completed it rather than stopping and having to go to a new area
