There are many things annoying about this whole butthurt about what Trump said.

1. A shitton of politicians have definitely NOT said the nicest things at all times. A quick google search can easily find many instances of swearing and quite a few racist things (although the people were products of their time then so grain of salt)
2. Almost none of these people who are butthurt are going to DO anything for the 'shithole' countries.
3. A great deal of the rich people who are expressing outrage actively dodge taxes. Ya know what that money could do? Help these shithole countries.
4. The spinning of Trump's comment being racist is basically dishonest.

This whole situation is just another example of manufactured outrage over what Trump said because they don't like him.

Only by a fairly liberal interpretation of white - that category of white we invented in the 40s for "anyone that isn't as black as those people."

By a lot of world standards, the US is kind of a shithole too. We have problems in this country that rival those in the so-called 'third world'. It's all kind of relative. I think people are more offended by the notion that a country that has such problems dares to judge others, and also claims to be so much better than them that we can't use them - while all the while we get the majority of our resources and most significant imports from those countries, as most 'first world' countries do. It's extremely hypocritical and blind.
