If they dont bring the PTR up in upcoming days, could they still deliver the patch on live?

Sure, they have internal QA as well. There will be a bit more instability than usual I'm sure, but that can be smoothed out by hotfixes/exe builds.

I'm just wondering will heirloom effect the chances to getting the Heritage Armor for both Nightborne and Zandalari Empire?

It is amusing when people who tend to predict release dates and just 'happen' to be right are always looked at as having inside information. Blizzard is pretty predictable for when they'll release patches just like FF14 so usually you can guess a release date pretty easily especially when it's a week or 2 away.

Sure, but it's also amusing to see that people forget that certain people in the community have a good relation with Blizzard CMs and as such have a good chance of knowing some information early. Especially when it comes to things like Alpha which Blizzard generally notifies said certain people about before it starts.

    Pretty much this.

I had friends (well online friends) who had contact with some CM/dev and they used to know when stuff was about to happen/be announced (mostly dates, not so much details (like no expac name etc)).

    Why would it?

The only pre-req for heritage armor is to lvl said allied race from their start lvl till max lvl, period.

Otherwise rested xp, dmf buff, monks buff, would have an effect and so on...

Imagine if you had to level them from 20 to max doing the ironman challenge in order to get the armor...

I’d actually like to see Blizz add some vanity reward, even if it was just a title, for doing the Ironman challenge. This is a rewards based mmo after all, there are generally incentives for doing things.

...aaand imagine reaction from people that failed challenge because of some bug or disconnect.

Yes, even if it's just a title. Remember uproar when not everyone got "Patron of War" title because of some bug?

I was thinking of removing the no-death restriction and just make you level to max without gear and without grouping.

Then it wouldn't be a long grind and not a challenge.

I mean that's the challenge. Just because there's a title doesn't change the fact that actual Ironman players lose runs to that right now.

TBF predicting releases is fairly easy.

For those wondering, February 13th is 77 days after Antorus released. *thinking face emoji*

Isn't the 77 day thing supposed to be 77 days after the patch came out? not the raid?
7.3.2 came out over a month prior to Antorus, 77 days from the 24th of October would've been last Monday.

And to add to this, 7.3.2 wasnt 77 days after 7.3

Yeah I've been noticing people still going on with the 77 day, even though it hasn't been a thing since 7.2.5 - 7.3.0, and they always go from Antorus + 77 days and not 7.3.2 + 77 days.

It's because its from content unlocks not necessarily patches. 7.1.5 was never used in the 77 day rule but Nighthold unlock which was a week after the patch came out was. With 7.3.2 it can't be considered as the Antorus unlock was many weeks after.

Antorus was also nearly 77 days from 7.3. They said themselves they were considerate of the holiday being soon so it looks like it was delayed.
Q: What are the plans for the rest of Legion? When should we expect Antorus?
A: It’s coming up - the date is expected to be announced within the next week. They are being considerate of the upcoming holiday season (for both players and Blizzard employees).

It actually was 77 days from 7.1 -> 7.1.5 (and not NH).

So the cycle ended with the release of Arugs/7.3.
The raid was off by 2 weeks, making it 91 days.

The 77 day rule has long since been broken.
