Evening Elves?
Dusk Elf?
Evening Elves?
Dusk Elf?
Shadow Elves? Shaldo'rei means Children of Shadow if I'm not mistaken, just like Kal'dorei means Children of Stars(Night Elves).
Crack elves and smurfs sounds fine to me.
I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.
I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.
Nightborne should be called Night Elves, because that's what Shal'dorei means - Children of the Night. Kaldorei actually means Children of the Stars, not of the Night. So nelves are actually star elves, or stelves.
Back-stabbers
I would call them Drow Elves for the sake of preserving RPG tropes. The white hair does it for me.
I will be calling them Nbelfs from now on and i suspect many others may do too
I still hold to my earlier statement, that Blizzard elected to utilize their formal demonym (Nightborne) solely because these people would likely self-identify as "Night Elves", which would confuse a great deal of players on the character creation screen.
Edit: If it helps, imagine the Nightborne as a political faction of Night Elves (instead of a distinct race). They wouldn't be ecstatic about calling them Night Elves, though they might be, because it would cause confusion.
