Sounds like someone purposefully exaggerating so much everyone except Donny T the stable G would know he was totally bullshitting.
It's not Trump having good or bad genes that bothers people.
It's that what was said almost sounds like something Trump would say himself. Complete with the total ignorance: see how the doctor keeps saying "I don't know" every time he mentions genes. Like he's just up there bullshitting and he knows it.
What bothers people is that he couldn't just say "he's healthy" and leave it at that; he had to sprinkle in some 'glorious leader might have super man genes, maybe, kinda.'
If it is true that he is in good health, Being 71 and eating that much junk food, I would agree those are some damn good genes. He is still an annoying shit talker. Maybe the Doc's comments about living to 200 was more of a subtle troll towards Trump and his tendency to exaggerate. I don't know, either way it seems pretty silly to get all excited about such a meaningless comment
Wow, who here was hoping the doctor would pronounce him a dead man walking?
... *crickets*
That's what I thought.
If you actually read, most of the objection is that the doctor said things that no doctor would say, and the entire analysis of Trump's health was incredibly hyperbolic. Doctors don't say you're the healthiest person alive and give a ton of over the top statements. They say that your BP is normal, HR is slightly above average but nothing to worry about, etc.
A fat 71 year old who is sedentary 23.7 hours of the day, eats nothing but junk food, wheezes walking tiny hills and has to take golf carts the last half of a 50 foot climb, isn't going to be the healthiest man alive. That doesn't mean we expect the doctor to pronounce him a dead man walking, but it was incredibly clear the doctor was spewing bullshit, more than likely to not disrupt confidence in glorious leader.

Nobody with a functioning brain thinks Trump is in any way healthy. However, It's not exactly the first time the White house has lied about a presidents health.
Before I took a job in another state, the doctor who examined me said, "Damn! You have exceptionally good eye vision. " And another one during a routine examination, said " there are a lot of years left in your body". Or very recently a VA doctor told me, "you have really good respiration". So flattering by doctors is not as uncommon as you think.
In a public statement about our national leader, people tend to reject hyperbolic bullshit and just want a breakdown. It's also incredibly clear that Trump is not incredibly healthy as he wheezes halfway up a tiny hill and has to take a golf cart the rest of the way up.

As someone who is actually in shape, it's painful to watch him climb small hills and flights of stairs. My 95 year old grandfather who had diabetes was in far better physical shape than Trump was. He was still taking jogs til the day he was hospitalized for unrelated stuff that eventually killed him.

He has a diet that makes you fat, and he got fat. So he doesn't have some magical metabolism or something.
"Good genes" is a very vague concept. What does that mean, his family doesn't have a predisposition to heart disease? No history of cancer? None of that has anything to do with eating a lot of McDonald's in any case. That just makes you fat, like he is.
Let's not all forget that unless Trump actually had genetic screening (which is incredibly unlikely) the doc was just using it colloquially to state Trump is in better than expected health for his age, which as has been pointed out is complete nonsense. He's a fat, out of shape old man
I saw the comment. It was a playful way of saying he is doing fine and is healthy. It was by no means literal. Don't get me wrong I think Trump is an idiot but this was just a guy being a guy and saying 200 to say 200.
That's not really what he said. But it was a fairly stupid way to phrase things.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
His choice of words leaves a lot to be desired, I mean "good genes" right after the whole "shithole/Norway" debacle...
Then again this guy said he "might live to 200 years" so clearly he's a sloppy speaker at best.
Also what's with the gross overuse of superlatives - has Trump infected everyone with that or are there just a lot of idiots going around speaking that way?
