Granted, there is no guarantee a shutdown might actually occur (though it doesn't look like a deal is coming any time soon), but has anyone tried telling Trump how bad the optics will look if he's partying at his club while thousands of Americans are not getting paid because he's a crappy dealmaker?

In a sane world a shutdown would be the death knell of the GOP because they control both houses of Congress and the White House and yet still couldn't keep the government funded.

He deserves it. He's been working so hard. Presidenting for almost 2 hours a day is so incredibly taxing, especially when he's only barely doubled Obama in the times he's actually been confirmed to have been playing golf. I mean, he's tripled the times he's visited golf clubs but, yeah, only played golf double the amount Obama had.



Also, we have to remember, the doctors just told us, Trump is in horrible health, so he needs all the rest he can possibly get.
