I doubt this would happen as there was a fairly recent change which added agility polearms to the ret loot table, at least in some old content. I got Mannoroth's glaive in HFC on a bonus roll during a transmog run.

They are the warrior lookalike shoulders from HFC mythic, they drop off of Kormrok.

I need to check other 5-mans and see if it applies there. If so, paladins are pretty safe for getting xmog despite the PL changes.

    OMG REALLY?

That's been broken for SO long. I thought it'd never be fixed.

The polearm from Shadow Labs isn't on ret's loot table, it's the only item I need in there so I got cucked pretty fast.

Just fooling around with a fire themed transmog.

    Shoulders: Inmolation Mantle HC
Chest: Battleplate of winged triumph M
    Hands: Flickering handguards HC
Belt: Greatbelt of living waters M
    Weapon: Taeshalach

Tried around for the tier gauntlets, but that red doesn´t quite match the chest piece.

I'm not much a fan of "skimpy" plate transmogs, but I was messing around this afternoon out of boredom. The purple on the helmet is more intense than the rest of the armor, but I feel it needs some sort of helm and I didn't find anything else I liked.

Alternate weapons: Relentless Edge (polearm); Furious and Wrathful Gladiator's Bonegrinders (maces)

    Item List
    Head: High Chief's Crown
    Cloak: Dory's Embrace
Chest: Breastplate of the Dragon Slayer
    Hands: Praetorium Guard's Gauntlets
    Waist: Praetorium Guard's Waistplate
    Legs: Heavy Plate Leggings
    Feet: Praetorium Guard's Sabatons
    Weapon: Huge Thorium Battleaxe

The Heroic T21 DK set mixes pretty well with the T18 Mythic paladin set, but the smoke effects on the belt and shoulders are a ridiculous stream of rings flying all over the place, which, unfortunately, precludes me from using this set. They reduced the flame and smoke effects of the Blackrock Mythic set shoulders, so maybe there's hope for these as well. Strangely enough, the smoke effects behave like you'd expect when you're in the order hall and on the character screen.

Haven't found a cloak that really pops with this set, and due to the shoulders I feel the balanced look provided by a cloak is necessary.

    Item List
    Head: Titan-Subjugator's Visage (H)
Shoulders: Shoulderplates of the Ceaseless Vigil (M)
Cloak: Cloak of Multitudinous Sheaths (M)

    Chest: Soul-Tempered Chestplate (H)
Hands: Gauntlets of the Ceaseless Vigil (M)
Waist: Girdle of Savage Resolve (M)
Legs: Greaves of Mercurial Allegiance (H)
    Feet: Cruel Hope Crushers (M)
    Weapon: Face of Ruin

Alliance weapons are looking better than Horde so far...

    Artifacts
    Class Hall
Legion's Bane (New) Complete the quest line "The Council's Challenge," unlocking a new appearance for your artifact weapon. 10 points.

New artifact skins? Or a rename of the current challenge artifact skins once it’s unobtainable?

Surely just a rename or consolidation of questlines/steps...surely...

Seriously hoping the “councils challenge” is to contain the power in Sargeras’ sword within our artifacts and that gives us a new skin, however im pretty sure the councils challenge is the artifact scenario challenge stuff.

I'm so sorry Horde. You're getting SPIKES SPIKES SPIKES galore for Warfronts.

Yep, nothing elegant, or race-specific. Just more "SAVAAAAAAAAAAAAGE" crap.

Meanwhile even the alliance mail looks like plate, it's crazy good looking.

To me, alliance will always have better looking faction armor since the horde armor is either leather straps with spiky shoulders or just spiky armor in general, living in a spiky mud hut city. I love the races of the horde but I can't stand Orgrimmar's aesthetic and the horde's obsession with spikes.

I'm gonna miss class-specific sets since paladin themes don't really deal with spikes much.

Couldn't they have made racial armor sets that still have a faction flair? Hope you like spiky savageness!

Why are they still making weapons with 5-inch-thick blades and edges? It's not like they haven't made sharp blades and edges before.

The Zandalar leveling and dungeon plate sets will look amazing on trolls, but the Kul Tiras plate sets will look good on any Alliance plate user. Skimpy armor fans rejoice, I guess?

    (BUT IT'S JUST ALPHA!)

No joke, if I didn't like my guild so much, I would go back to Alliance for BfA; I secretly wish they'd switch...
