Nah the problem is well defined by your quote there. You got your priorities all twisted there bud. Country takes priority. Been wondering much the same for the last few years. The notion that a basic degree of respect is necessary to maintain civilization has seemingly given way to everything being a ball busting conflict. Thankfully, while this idea has advanced in society, it still isn't much of a thing. I think the claim was that he said "shithole countries" not "shithole people". Which if you look the national statistics regarding GDP per capita, income, wealth, etc, it is an accurate assessment.

the real issue is that he said he didn't want people from those shithole countries coming here. So in reality, it was an indictment against the people, and not just against the country.
