Low level dungeon changes & timewalking - Why?

Clever girl, blizzard.... forcing these leveling changes to max levels too.

Just tanked these tbc timewalking dungeons and for the love of Jesus my eyes are bleeding. Can barely even stay awake.

I'm sure someone's gonna now jump in to tell me how great it is to learn these fight mechanics that everyone already did 10 years ago and it's awesome to waste more time to finis your timewalking chore, but god damnit. Who the f would want this?

I don't have a problem with boss fights taking longer. Makes them more interesting. However I really hate trash taking so long.
Reduce trash HP by at least 50%, keep bosses the same and I'm happy.

But, it isn't a chore. You don't have to do it. It is great that it is finally a fight in it, instead of just plowing through.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

Not even that is acceptable. All that does is offer the stick but without adding any carrot to it. The only way that would be acceptable is if the bosses would at least drop relinquished level gear with the same titanforge chance.

Yes yes, I'm sure you would just love having all heroic bosses hp's quadrupled too so you can binge on that 865 gear.

Ps. There is no "fight in it". None of the mobs do more damage than before, they just take a lot longer to die.

What, you only have 865 ilvl? Then no wonder.

That is true but then there's no real complaint. Yes, it has a bit too much health but not really a problem. Still see people wiping on it. Hopefully the damage will be increased as well.

Except I don't do TW for gear. I enjoy running Dungeons on alts and timewalking offersthe opportunity to do so with friends even if not 110 or fully geared . Also the most important reward for me are the 500 tokens per alt per event. Not saying I'm opposed to getting better loot.

Wasting more time to get those 500 tokens is somehow fun for you when there's no added carrot to it? It is not acceptable. Period.

Great reading comprehension. No real complaint? Really? Wasting more time on timewalking "just because reasons" is not acceptable.

Ps. You aren't obligated to post in every thread on this forum.

I'd say it's a 100% improvement over catering to the crowd that just wants braindead rush runs for a carrot at the end.

I don't see it as wasting time. I'm seeing it as having fun doing dungeons with friends with the additional benefit of getting tokens to buy reputation, upgrade heirlooms, or a toy or mount from time to time. On top of that I get xmog stuff.

    THIS.

Yesterday we're doing timewalking quest and it was ridiculous.
For example - Shattered Halls - i'm pulling 10 (or so) mobs and we're fighting, and fighting, and fighting..... and fighting.
And the bosses, that should be the real challenge of the instances, are as easy as ever.
Fighting trash is that way is incredibly boring.

You were the one talking about binging ilvl 865, so obviously I thought you were stuck on that. If you feel like you're wasting time, then why the hell are you doing it? And reasons, well, the changes are an improvement, just missing damage buff and we're good.

I commented because I liked to (gasp, I know, choices), unless you felt like wearing a little tinfoil, I am not chasing you.

Oooh, I am loading all the currency into mounts and reputation tokens for alts.. Haha.

I don't really care either way, but I thought the whole point of timewalking was to simulate the original dungeon experience? I don't see how zerging Arcway was ever their intent when they added timewalking.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.

Ow, and ofc I vendored all my gemmed to the gills rolfstomp TW sets when they nerfed TW into the ground.

In some dungeons the higher health really is pointless. Maraudon is one example I can think of.

Foulspore Caverns literally has zero dangerous mechanics to each boss and they have like over 100k health.

Get some people with BiS TW gear through the group finder if you want to do them fast.

I actually liked the TW dungeons more now. They feel like a real dungeon, closer to what it was back in the day, you have aa chance of failure, can't just go pulling everything, and the bosses actually have time to show mechanics and speak. Feels way way better, IMO, and I'm actually more interested in playing Timewalking for nostalgia purposes now.

But, if you argue that the rewards should be improved somewhat due to greater effort, then I agree.
    Whatever...

The "Taking longer is fun!" crowd is everywhere. Every single thread. I just don't get it, I truly don't.

    0 difficulty increase.
    0 reward increase.
    50-100% time increase.

    Why is this good?

It isn't, Idiots have just fooled themselves into thinking it is and Blizzard wins.

All I hear constantly now is "Wow you just wanted to Rush now its actually Challenging!". Which I guess would be true if it was actually challenging and not just pointlessly longer.

I mean if you had to choose between watching paint dry and one patch took 15mins and the other took 45mins, what kind of imbecile would you be to choose the 45min patch.

"But I think watching paint dry is REALLY fun! Why wouldn't I pick the longer patch?!"

OT: I feel ya OP, they aren't harder just longer. I'm debating on even doing them anymore at this point since I'm just going for the chest anyway.

What the hell are you people smoking?
I completed all 5 of the TW dungeons required for the quest in about 1 hour. Instances were SP, Arc, BM and 2x MGT.
Where does 45 min come from? Jesus
