I'm excited about the new gorilla models, and the hyenas. That sher khan tiger model looks like a must-tame for hunters.

Are we sure they are updating old models??

Or are these just model for the new zone/s??

Cuz I LOVE Those horses - all the animals have so much more depth and texture! That I have a hard time believing that now "all horses" are going to look like those or all animals are going to get changed.

I'm thinking its just in the new zones (like new horse mounts and not changing old horse model...?) Much like in Northrend we got different horses; but it didn't go back and change all past horses.

(Using horses as just one example out of those animals of course - all of those look so much better! Even the new prairie dog (though I don't want to lose the dead-dolls-eye stare! I can't make JAWS references if I do...) =D

Historically when they've updated an "old model", like squirrels or sheep or bears, they will apply the new model to all in-game mobs of the same species. Hence why we can recognize the color schemes in many of the new models already, they'll be applied to old world mobs.

I'm really hoping they'll visually update ALL THE THINGS!

Love all of the new stuff and look forward to it. Suggestion on showing the images, however. Charcoal on Black is a very poor background for showing any images that are in any shade of black. The Bee Mount is a perfectly good example. About the only thing really clear on that image are the eyes, and wings. Everything is literally so blended with the background that it is nigh impossible to see. Very hard on the eye, as well. Try brightening the background a bit, please!

The last time we wanted a cuddly race (Pandaren) people couldn't shut up about how WoW is becoming Kungfu Panda, if we get Vulpera everyone won't shut up about how WoW is becoming Zootopia.

And just like the Pandaren complaints we will ignore them entirely.

Well all of the new races are using recycled skeletons.

But I have to agree that the alliance are basically getting Draenei, Blood Elves and Dwarves without any new meshes except for maybe Hair.

Is that really that bad tho?
I don't necessarily need a completely new model to enjoy a new race and would take Dark Iron Dwarves over a completely new race any day.

All in all, isn't that the purpose of allied races? To give players more options, without having to spend a huge amount of resources?
