Eh? The store chain I work at has had delivery service for at least 10 years now :P
You can buy from walmart.com, rice is like half the cost of rice in regular stores. If you order online they charge like a $1 over for everything so going to a physical store is lots cheaper.
I bet most deliveries charge some kind of premium.

I wrote an online ordering system for groceries in 1997 ... yeah - that's how long it has been a thing
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
That service has been available for years here. I don’t use it cause I don’t want the most beaten up veggies, oldest breads, and milk that’s a day away from expiration.

OP just entered the 21st century.
I get my groceries delivered twice a week and it's hardly any more expensive then driving there myself.
OK, but how am I supposed to have my daddy/daughter Monday dates? We go for lunch and then get groceries for the week. She can push a little cart around, and learn about all sorts of food. And I get to pick my own produce/meats, too.

All our large supermarkets here offer a online service to pick what you want and get it delivered / some you go shopping yourself and they deliver it.
Tbh I hate the first option, they fob you off with products which have a day left on their sell by date, I love buying reduced food and freezing it, but when I do a big shop I don't want half the items on their last day. I've had it happen multiple times from milk to bacon to bread. When I was still living with the folks the supermarkets were a hour away from us so it really wasn't on.
Outside of that, I prefer to go myself to lidls and aldis the quality is far superior and for far better prices, not to mention all the seasonal cultural stuff they have in every few weeks,
Let me know when they bring you the stuff with the good sell by dates from the back of the shelves.
Nothing like having to eat a 6-pack of desserts in one sitting because they've got today's date on them...
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Just because you prefer to do it one way, doesn't mean that you will never have a need for a delivery service.
I have kids and I work full-time. Being able to shop online is a Godsend as it means I don't have to drag Kids around a shop when they would rather be doing literally ANYTHING else.
But i'm confused, in the UK Tesco and Asda have been doing home delivery for years, and the likes of Sainsbury's and Morrisons have joined the fray more recently. It's convenient, It's easier. and quite a lot of the time it's far cheaper, because you don't get tempted by things that you don't need.
