Because 4/6 are already complete and in the game as we speak. Questlines, models, everything.

It's almost a given that they will be gated behind BfA preorders. The question and currently theory is that those preorders will start tomorrow.

Very likely that Pre-orders start. A little less likely but still very likely that the 4 Legion-related Allied Races are announced as Pre-order bonus at that time. Less likely that they are activated immediately (but possible).

Again, Allied Races are going to be released like how Death Knights and Demon Hunters were released, two to three weeks prior to the Expansion. And the Expansions release is at least two to three months from now, maybe more.

The rumor of preorder on 30th exists because of a youtuber who has a reliable source that already leaked BFA to him. Whether or not the source is right this time, we'll find out today

They have to be dropping in this expansion, because needing grindy exalted rep from the previous expansion to unlock new expansion content would be heinously stupid, even for Blizzard.

It also would explain why they jacked up the amount of time it takes to level, another thing that doesn't make too much sense on its own.

Demon Hunters went available in the patch their Data came in, after a short wait.

Data for the first four allied races is in 7.3.5, which is also pretty much half of the pre-patch, by patch standards.

Why would you compare to the release of WotLK 9 years ago and not Legion two years ago ?
