They updated the skeleton system to allow different animations, so even if something is a remodel, it could use different animations. It was even a talking/selling point for BfA at BlizzCon.

Yeah, I don't mind it as long as the things look cool as hell, which, they do.

That's not an abnormal income level for a successful person who's been working for a while (likely 10+ years minimum in a corporate type environment), and given the huge spread of demographics that play WoW....I'm positive there are dozens if not hundreds or thousands of people who play WoW that are at or above this income level.
Sorry you can claim what you want but getting 7200 bucks a month(!) is NOT a normal salery....

Specific to MMO's I'm ok with pre-orders. It gives them a concrete number to expect come launch day. I want launches to be more like legion than WoD, that's for sure. After 14 years they will never make groundbreaking changes to the game, It's safe to assume that I will thoroughly enjoy BFA just as I have every expansion. I'm gonna buy it anyway, may aswell help them build up data and get a mount too. We aren't going to login one day and have a action based combat system for example. The things that they change systems wise are small in the grand scheme of things.

    Win/Win from my perspective.

the last "filler expansion" paid me for 3 years of game , all shop mounts , pets, helms , overwatch , starcraft remasterd, diablo's necromancer , virtual blizzcon and few other things + will pay for BFA :0 due to how much gold it was shitting out and how cheap tokens were back then

i love filler expansions :P:P:P:P WpD was the best thing ever due to how easy gold was back then

if only BfA was like this i wouldnt mind at all :P

What about when you order pizza online? Or...anything, online. You don't get any of that right away.
You didn't explain anything and last time I ordered food it sure as heck did not take a year.

    1) $93600/12 = $7800 not 7200 (remember this is GROSS, not NET)
    2) I never said that was a normal income. I said earning that much is not abnormal for someone who is successful and has been working for a while. Meaning, it's not an unheard of or obscene number for someone to earn.

I'm under no delusions that it's an average income, or that anyone can earn that much. I'm just saying it's attainable, and that hundreds, if not thousands, of people who play WoW (given the huge population and large demographics of people that play the game) earn that much or more.

That actually really depends on where you live. In switzerland it's close to median salary.

they did that in legion, just more often used here.
the infernal is the example, it used to be a yeti simply, but then they changed its animations but it still uses it

You either read about 1% of the content coming out or are the worst troll I've seen on here (which is quite the feat).

    My exact words:
It's not wasting if you're going to use it. Pay for it now, or pay for it at launch, there's no monetary difference (aside from a possible sale, but I'm just referring to spending money period, not necessarily how much)
Whether you buy it now, or buy it later...you're still spending the money. There's no difference, monetarily.

Especially when you KNOW you're going to be spending the money regardless.

Amount of time isn't really relevant. The point you were trying to make (or at least it seemed that way) was that you'd rather buy something and get it immediately, rather than buy something and not get it for a while (you never really specified a time frame where it's acceptable or not).

Yes, there is a difference. While the difference might be small on an individual level, Blizzard makes litteraly millions on the fact that they get and can invest that money befor they even have to deliver the product.

Of course, if you just take the money you would use to buy it later and put it in your wallet until you actually buy it it won't matter. You would hardly do that though, would you? At least I hope you would not.

If you don't have the money to spend right now because you'd rather buy something else that you can have right now, that's fine and makes sense. But the basis of your argument (in the post I originally was responding to) was that you were saying people are stupid and clueless and "falling for it" for giving Blizzard their money for a pre-order.

Bottom line is you're giving Blizzard money. So why is someone stupid, clueless and "falling for it" for giving them money for a pre-order but someone who gives them money on launch day is not? The end result is the exact same, both of you got the game, and both of you gave Blizzard money.
